    These games...
  2. Yay! Wholly deserved considering the waves it made online. I'd say she's in with a good chance of winning given that it's fan voted!

Haha, it's truly harrowing. It's probably partially because I hammered the original and didn't realise a Jess Glynne version even existed, so really wasn't expecting her goose vocals to terrorise me full blast. What a downgrade.

Oh, gross. I know it's not a popular opinion, but I actually didn't mind 'Joyce' prior to this. Questionable motives aside (I'm too pretty!!  x 40000), Beth really hasn't done anything to annoy me, and Jack's 'move over bitch' to the random lady in Jan's profile gave me probably the biggest laugh all series. Really liked Tim until the Thatcher revelation. :puke2: Plus he's very obviously playing up to the 'clueless older man' narrative, which is a little tiresome. Georgina and 'Sammie' are the only likeable ones for me right now. The latter purely for how little f***s he gives now. :manson::manson::manson: Honestly, Busayo's entire motive was justified by Brooke's time on the show. She barely set a foot wrong, was consistently nice to everyone and yet was still bottom two in most ratings. Ella deciding to antagonise her on the basis of... literally nothing when she hadn't spoke to her 1-on-1 says it all. I do agree that Busayo's catfish persona is boring as all hell, but equally, she's had very little screentime so far so it's hard to judge.
  5. Genie in a Bottle easily!

I don't even dislike Jess nearly as much as the bulk of this forum, but the remixed version is appalling. The intro to her verse is so jarring that it actually startled me when I was driving earlier. Who approved that?! Here for the solo version smashing though. Another bop from Raye.

Yeah, 100%. Regional variants is such an inspired idea and a fantastic excuse to revamp some of the more outdated designs, but the execution has been absolutely horrendous. I'd consider maybe A-Ninetales, A-Sandslash and A-Marowak to be on par with the originals. Rattata and Meowth were solid too, but their evos destroyed any good will I had towards them. The rest vary from 'eh' (Raichu, Zigzagoon line) to legit some of the worst designs ever conceived (Persian, Dugtrio, Weezing). I'm not even massively keen on Ponyta; the overly-forced cute aesthetic with the chibi proportions and impossibly large eyes/ears is sorta nauseating. Give me regular Ponyta any day. On another note, gameplay of the first town was released and it's actually... not horrible looking? Living for how British it looks. https://vimeo.com/365892350
  8. Incredibly late with this, but those were my exact sentiments when I heard 'Motivation'! It's what Bounce Back should've been, horns and all. On another note, The Guardian published a list of the 25 greatest girlband members: @1182944766431903745 A solid list in general, but Heidi Range, Dawn Richards (???) and Sarah Harding over Leigh or Perrie? Questionable. Perrie warrants an inclusion on vocal talent alone imo. At least Jesy and Jade got some recognition (the write-up for both of them is so on-point).
  9. Thanks Jonjo! Some thoughts:Amazing (if unsurpising) winner. I neeeeed their next single to take cue from 'Touch'. It's still such a massive banger two years on. Leigh's intro is iconic.I was never massively keen on WFH, but can appreciate how huge it was at the time. It was incredible to see a girlband actually smashing it worldwide (however fleeting their success may have been.).'Down' and 'Bounce Back' both being bottom 6 is kinda hilarious. As is 'Only You' being the highest rated LM5 single (by a large margin too!).On that note, CYL beating WLM???? I don't think I'll ever understand the disdain for the latter.Shook but delighted at Reggaeton Lento managing to scam a place in the top 10 (and beating NMSS!).I'd probably place 'Move' in the top 5 over 'Black Magic'.'Salute' being beaten by 'That's My Girl' seems questionable, but I seemingly gave the latter a 9 so ???. I think I over-inflated all my 5H scores to not seem too much of a Little Mix loon.

Both this, and the fact that it's Psychic type makes zero sense. At least retconning Sandshrew and Vulpix into version exclusives was excusable given that they were both redesigned as two-stage Ice-types. Farfetch’d doesn’t even have a Galarian form. It leads me to believe we’re getting far less regional evos than anticipated, which would suck but be very on-brand for this era of GF. I just want gen 2 icons Stantler and Girafarig to receive some love.
  11. Ditto! Really didn't 'get' 'Piece of Your Heart', especially the spoken parts, so I'm not sure why I find this so much more tolerable when it's essentially the same song. Must be Becky Hill's impact!
  12. Jax's branding is always so on-point! Love the lyric video. The song is basic as all hell, but I do enjoy it nonetheless. Really rooting for it to be a hit if only for Ella's sake. She was done so dirty by Syco.

    Ah, thanks everyone! :)
  14. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t worried too. I think they’re in a very similar position to Katy at the moment, in the sense that it if they release an undeniable bop like NRO then it’ll smash, but anything subpar will probably bomb ala ‘Small Talk’. It’s definitely a crucial junction in their career, and I’m not entirely confident in their ability to pick the right song after them claiming that ‘Bounce Back’ was their favourite single so far. As for release date, early November is probably the least risky if they’re set on 2019. If last year is any indication, any later will just result in it being swallowed by the Xmas song influx. Tbh, I think it’s probably better to hold off till the New Year. January typically sees a dearth of new releases, so at least they won’t be overshadowed, and it gives the GP a chance to feel their absence a bit more. BB is still relatively recent and was hammered by radio.
  15. I'm a bit dubious given how left-field this is. Perhaps the amazing reception to Jesy's documentary paved the way for it? Honestly, it would be a genius move if true. Their personalities are so infectious and it obviously gives them a platform to promote their own music each week. Here for it!
  16. I can only assume 'Don't Need No Money' was eliminated that early due to its relative obscurity, because BOP. 'Easy Love' for me. It's pretty dreadful. I still don't understand how it was so massive at the time, although glad it was because his material since has been solid.

Thanks Jonjo! Little Mix were the reason I joined the forum originally so more than happy to take on the responsibility. Incredibly large boots to fill with Joe's departure, but hopefully I can make even a fraction of the impact he has over the years. :)
  18. DNA: Red Planet (the singles are cute but haven't aged well. Even still, Red Planet is probably the only single I'd rank ahead of them). Salute: Move (genuinely so many career highlights on this album, but Move will forever be in their top 3 tracks imo). Get Weird: Love Me Like You (normally it'd be Hair, but the album version isn't a patch on the remix) Glory Days: Touch (low-key any of the five singles could go here. Only Private Show and the Platinum tracks are within touching distance in terms of quality). LM5: Wasabi (LM5 was such a massive misfire in terms of singles. Wasabi and FYN are iconic).
  19. Hopefully mid-November at the latest. December is typically a terrible time to release. 'Bounce Back' honestly feels like eons ago (probably partly because it was so short-lived ).
  20. I mean, 'Only You' beating it is the real shock to me. I thought that was wayyy more reviled. RL making the top 10 is iconic. It's crazy how overlooked it is given how huge it was at the time. Its longevity was one of the best of any LM singles was it not? 'Bounce Back' truly cannot relate.
  21. I know I'm late with this, but this documentary destroyed me. Just absolutely gut-wrenching. I recall Facebook being abound with comments re her appearance back in 2011, which was so absurd to me -- even at 16 -- because I've always found her strikingly gorgeous. I remember when bootcamp was televised and being captivated by her brief cameos. I adored the 'old Jesy' that she's so desperate to erase. Honestly, the fact she was aware of the memes back then makes the situation all the more harrowing (the E.T. one will always stick with me, because it came after her pouring her heart out to the nation. People really do just prey on vulnerability.) Probably what hit me the hardest though, was the fact that she was miserable after they won. Trolls literally ripped what should've been the happiest moment of her life away from her. Even the 'Bounce Back' recording segments were painful to watch given how recent they were. The only reprieve is the waves this made on social media and the fact the support has been unanimous. Even my Dad brought it up when I met him for lunch yesterday. I wasn't even aware he knew who Little Mix were. (Low-key this whole documentary makes the fact that a certain user is allowed to freely call them 'tarts' and scream about his bizarre hate crusade without repercussions all the more ludicrous.)
  22. 'Woman Like Me' being that low is criminal. I don't think I'll ever understand the relative disdain towards it versus their other leads.
  23. Ugh, gross. Petition to discard this ballot pls.
  24. mess. (But also yas. Can they move on to pushing something worthwhile now?)
  25. Defaze posted a post in a topic in Little Mix's Little Mix
If they do manage to somehow release this, then I don't think there's necessarily an urgency to push it. Obviously it'd be better to strike while the iron's hot, but even if the Tik Tok trend dies down, then it's at least shown that the public are receptive to it, unlike their last two singles, which were entirely reliant on playlist support to keep them afloat.
