I assumed it was just gonna be 'Finding Nemo 2'. But I suppose this makes more sense. I love Dory! Only 968 days to go!
  2. It isn't really pronounced Mack-le-more is it?
  3. Won't do anything in the charts, but it's a nice treat for the fans. :)
  4. This segment drags on for too long and is so boring. The prize is a bit of a sham as well - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-22...t-lifetime.html
  5. I've heard millions of songs like this before..

Anyone know the record for the biggest fall from #1 midweek to the official charting?

So rude of Al Qaeda to ruin Blue's career launch in the States! :drama:
  9. The world spit me out and now we're spinning around, lost in a free fall Forever going down, and breakin' through the ground When I thought I reached the end, I start to fall again Nicole seld-prophesised this!! Just wait til she comes swinging back to the top! :magic:
  10. "You've had a number of number one hits across the pond" "We've had a lot of hits back home yeah" lol, bit awkward! :heehee: Bet they'll be relieved when/if they get #1 next week!
  11. Hasn't this stayed in the top 40 for longer than DNA did? I remember that dropping like a stone.
  12. Who's still buying this?? Surely those who found it amusing would have bought it months ago back when it was relevant?
  13. To be fair, even though there's much better songs they could've picked, I don't believe any of them would SMASH the charts here. This era's coming to an end already. Maybe since they're moving their concentration over to the US they thought this song might do better over there with the aforementioned 90's RnB throwback feel to it. Although now that I think of it they could've released Red Planet which just happens to feature T-Boz a.k.a American RnB 90's girlband royalty! It would've generated a lot more interest around them, plus the video would've been so good!

This is so good! It kinda reminds me of Jordin Sparks's 'Battlefield' in parts, or at least the feeling of instant epicness of it and thinking "This is gonna be huge!" which of course didn't really happen to Battlefield, so it'll be interesting to see if this one takes off for Demi.
  15. The "clean" version of this video they're playing on the BBC website is crap.
  16. Muggers' anthem.
  17. This is its 14th week in the top 30, yet never over #22!

That's the reason why it is deducted. Some people will just buy the whole album for £8.99, while others might buy a song then complete the album for a total of £8.99 as well. Both ways you pay the same price and get the same exact songs, but if you just buy the album it will just count as 1 album sale, so why the other way should it count as 1 album sale AND 1 single sale when the end product is exactly the same? That's basically the reasoning, but it does make it a bit confusing. Hate the minus thing they do in the US.
  19. Absolutely obsessed with this song. and the video of course! Makes me wanna go out and live life.
  20. Why is Rita doing a medley when Kelly's the one with the Greatest Hits?

Did she even promote anywhere else besides Graham Norton? Surely she didn't fly all the way over here just to do that one performance?
  22. I didn't realise Loose Women was so influential. :o I mean, it barely helped Leona last week. Happy though. :D Amazing what a bit of promo can do. With The X Factor as well it looks like it will be a commercial success after all. :cheer:

I wasn't expecting Warrior to go top 10 like her first album, but not even in the top 40 is quite shocking IMO. :( I agree her fanbase isn't that big in this country, but it was big enough to warrant a UK leg on her tour last year. From the Music Purchases thread on here it seems like a lot of people on here bought it. To think more people has bought Rita Ora's album so far this week than Kesha is crazy, when Rita's album has already been out 15 weeks and isn't really considered successful. Maybe parents don't want to buy it as a present to their children because they consider her a bad role model or something.
  24. I think the exploitation of Kiki definitely contributed in Charlie's win. Not sure if the part on the end made a difference though cause it was literally a few seconds before lines closed, plus Ant & Dec said the highest vote getter changed since the beginning of the show, so obviously Ashley was winning throughout the day then Charlie took over during the show. On DS I read the theory that since the finale has a million more viewers than the normal shows it means more casual viewers who haven't seen the rest of the series tuned in and probably more likely to recognise and vote for Janine from Eastenders as opposed to some American girl from the Pussycat Dolls. Oh well, 'spose who wins the title of 'Queen of the Jungle' doesn't really matter at the end of the day because the show's over now. I hope Ashley comes to the UK to do some interviews etc. :P
  25. Nooo I wanted Ashley to win. :( Everyone I've talked to and everyone on the internet seemed to love Ashley so I genuinely thought she would win. Charlie winning against anyone else would've been fine, but it just felt anti-climatic with Ashley being runner-up.
