I wouldn’t be so sure, I don’t think Georgia will pull a Romania but I think they’ll give Turkey a decent game. (also would you not class Germany vs Scotland as a mauling :heehee:)
  2. ikr I was going to say, I’d trust an average 16 year old’s political judgements a damn sight more than I would an 86 year olds :,000
  3. Reform contract/manifesto/whatever is genuinely terrifying. i am so glad that I don’t know a single person that will fall for their racist/transphobic/tin foil hat rhetoric as you’ve got to be a rather vile individual to vote in favour of some of their nasty policies x
  4. :cheer: ‘Naked in Manhattan’ next pls x

feeling slightly better about England's mediocre performance last night after watching whatever that was from France  Spain & Germany appearing to be in a different league to the rest of the competition at this point!
  6. ...is exactly the kind of mentality that encourages political illiteracy/herd mentality among young people which in turn informs these same people to make uneducated voting decisions when they do eventually turn 18  a 16 year old can conceivably 'have fun' (ie: grow in social maturity) and inform themselves on worldly issues (congruent with the aforementioned) at the same time...

France looking desperately poor, leading from a very unfortunate own goal from Austria. can't see them going too deep into the tournament this year
  8. Labour's manifesto is laughable, total lack of ambition and nothing vaguely resembling a party left-wing enough for me to consider voting. 'sensible' is one way of putting it, watered-down/unambitious/pandering is another
  9. Lib Dems, Labour are just Tory-lite. not convinced much will change nationally if/when they get in power. :nono:

  11. shambolic from Mordaunt, and not much better from Rayner. think Cooper and Denyer were quite obviously the standout performers tonight, can see Lib Dems building up some serious traction from now.

not really understanding the hype around Hungary, I can't see them picking up any points. think Scotland have a decent shot at getting out of the group, Germany still lack the depth they had a decade ago, wouldn't be surprised to see an upset tomorrow night.

Denmark might be a banana skin for us - they've looked really strong in the friendlies. 7 points I reckon.

I’ll take that! I have Spain as my third favourite to win the tournament behind Portugal and England.
  16. where are all these Reform voters hiding, I haven’t met a single one lol
  17. & omg those NUMBERS for ‘Please, Please, Please’ !!!
  18. hoping to see ‘misses’ become at least a top 40 hit but part of me worries that if it was going to it would have happened by now
  19. also HERE for the revamped album covers for her whole discography on Spotify !!!
  20. ‘Sympathy is a knife’ is one of the best songs of the year for me <3 easily her creative peak <3 and that’s saying a lot when ‘Pop 2’ and ‘how i’m feeling now’ exist x
  21. SO good. reminds me of something Billie would make but still has her own distinct style might be Sabrina’s best song yet
  22. not people already attributing Sabrina being #1 to Payola 😭 maybe it’s because it’s one of the best songs of the year so far…. just an idea lol
  23. Lib Dem manifesto looking incredibly strong, seems a fair bit more left-leaning than what we're used to from them. considering voting for them

I really can't get into this. feels self-indulgent in its grandiose, disjointed style. 'Escapism.' had a similar progressive feel but pulled it off much more seamlessly
  25. does anyone remember 'High School' by Nicki Minaj & Lil Wayne? underrated Nicki song
