  1. 'One In A Million' and 'The Mother We Share' are both superb songs, they take me back to being 16. 2013 arguably my favourite ever year for chart music x
  2. new track 'Treat Each Other Right' is out now, loving it on first listen
  3. maybe I’m slightly biased as a big fan, but ‘Good Luck, Babe’ does feel as though it’s been a lot bigger than its chart peak suggests!
  4. Chappell flying up :dancing: best pop album of the last few years being RIGHTLY acknowledged x
  5. my first top 50 appearance! hopefully the first of many 6VHPaHKTc74

    dreadful
  9. yeah, would love to see us try Bellingham deeper for one of the friendlies/group stage games, freeing up space for Gordon/Palmer/Eze to be given an opportunity alongside Foden and Saka. as you say, though, the lack of a natural left winger with prior international experience makes it more difficult for this to happen.. EDIT - also would like to see Wharton play in one of the friendlies (maybe with Eze also starting? think they would bounce off each other for obvious reasons). I highly rate the guy, think he'd be a capable impact sub/second choice for CDM/CM
  10. Corbyn has always struck me as a genuine, honest and good-natured individual. the phrase 'miserable bitter old man' seems a charged statement as opposed to a constructive one, anyway...
  11. Eminem? maybe 25 years ago a lot of the stuff he’s put out in the past 10 years has been just as unlistenable as Central Cee’s output lol
  12. I think we should consider ourselves quite fortunate with the group we've been drawn into, you'd like to think that Southgate will use the opportunity of 3 (on paper) winnable fixtures to experiment with the likes of Gordon, Palmer, Eze etc. to try and figure out our strongest attacking shape for the knockouts, but this is Southgate we're talking about lol
  13. very true, I wish the circumstances were different but ultimately a Labour government will produce some degree of positive change in Britain, whether that's substantial or minor we shall have to wait and see (and hope!)
  14. how, there are a fair few current labour MP's that will condone Israel's current interventions in Gaza. and I would call the killing of >10,000 innocent families/children a genocide
  15. indeed, however it is a travesty that we must take it as a foregone conclusion that so many people are unwilling to do their research and realise how morally questionable the Labour Party is in 2024 + therefore it becomes necessary for some politically educated people to vote for labour as they’re the only realistic alternative to the Tories. i long for the day Green becomes a feasible option in more areas than just Bristol and Brighton. my neighbourhood in Birmingham had Green second in the local election behind labour, but is mostly made up of reasonably well-educated young professionals/creatives. in so many working class areas across Britain political literacy is so poor - through no fault of their own, mind - that an alternative to red or blue seems an impossibility in the near future. it is saddening
  16. i don't know how Rice slipped my mind  Trent's on the bench in which case. I really do think we should start Palmer for the first few group stage games to see how he fares
  17. hello! it's lovely to see someone else enjoying 'Starburster'! I would say it's their best lead single yet - I'm very much excited for the album, expecting a bit of a switch-up in sound compared to their last few nice to see you charting 'Soon', the synths remind me of pre-2019 TR/ST which is quite the throwback also, lovely to see 1-800-GIRLS sneaking in to the chart - I was lucky enough to see him live a few months ago, one of the best live shows I've been to in a good while  great chart ^^
  18. this is why I'm becoming increasingly critical of people's sentiments of voting for labour simply 'because they're better than the tories' ... oh to be in such a privileged position where you convince yourself you're acting for the good of the common man by voting for a party that still actively condone a literal genocide
  19. and indeed it would be if our nation had not initially voted in a laughing stock ~5 years ago/voted Conservative in 2017... all of it is laughable, neither party are fit to run the country, both are complicit in a genocide to varying degrees. these are two men, neither of whom are in touch with the needs of British people + indeed the action necessary regarding various global conflicts you may be too busy to laugh (whatever that means, I'm busy too but still have the time to acknowledge the sheer misery of this whole situation), but I cannot help but laugh in despair that we went from nearly voting in Corbyn six years ago to being stuck with Sunak or Starmer in 2024
  20. i mean, in the context of the type of music she makes i kind of get where she was coming from but this is a pretty horrific take overall
  21. might be a contender for worst song of the year so far
  22. certainly wasn’t expecting to see ‘BAND4BAND’ climb much higher than its initial peak
  23. surely in this instance people are most likely to watch the debates to laugh at Sunak as opposed to help them inform their decision on who to vote for :,) I very much doubt many viewers will go into the debate still on the fence
  24. that the fluctuating streams for ‘LUNCH’ have something to do with Spotify’s algorithm alternating which songs from the Billie album get promoted more on autoplay
  25. with the start of the Euros just a few weeks away, what do we think England's strongest starting 11 is? I would tentatively go with: Pickford Shaw*/Maguire/Stones/Walker Alexander-Arnold/Bellingham Palmer/Foden/Saka Kane *fitness permitting, if he's not fit then honestly God knows
