  3. I hope 'Cry For Me' climbs over the week, it sounds like it should be a massive #1
  4. I don't understand how Trump can just sack people as he wishes, is there not a disciplinary/warning process in the US for dismissing people? and a body like ACAS that can investigate these unfair dismissals? I just presumed every developed country had these systems in place tbf
  5. correct x
  6. also 2/1 for Farage to be the next PM? literally never going to happen
  7. funny how people that claim to have no political affiliation are bending over backwards to emphasise what a terrible job Starmer is doing but didn't bother to do so for Sunak etc. lol it seems silly to make these grandiose claims that Labour are making a 'bigger mess' of the country than the Tories after ~6 months. two years down the line and still no progress in the right direction? fine. but give Britain a chance to bounce back from the cabinet of bumbling idiots who drove the country into the ground for 14 years ffs lol (and this is coming from someone who has never, and probably will never vote Labour in my life. nowhere near left enough to represent my views)
  8. oh it's a banger are we sure this is real tho and not another pa-pa-pa-perfect illusion x :heehee:
  9. excited to see some odds for this contest, I don't think I've heard anyone mention any potential frontrunners yet (unlike most contests I've took part in so far) so it'll be interesting to see who the favourites are x

  16. this is rly interesting because I'd say my song this month is vv pop !!!
  17. coming into BJSC ~6 months ago with zero prior knowledge of what the prevailing tastes on this forum are, my impression is that the most 'popular'/common genre seems to be electronic, specifically that with a synth/pop crossover aspect & female vocals. obviously this is just my view of what tends to be *most* likely to do well, but it has had an impact on my choices of song (for example, this month's entry and BABii are the only two entries of mine so far that I've been quite certain will qualify)

a good point, though that could be said about the contents of every mainstream UK radio playlist for the last 5 or so years :heehee: think the days of a song being playlisted by Capital/R1 going hand in hand with being a chart hit are long gone, unfortunately
