  1. I can't believe it looks like 'Sailor Song' will get to #1! completely unlike any song I can recall reaching the top 10 in my lifetime, sounds like a Fleet Foxes or Beirut song with a little Neutral Milk Hotel sprinkled in
  2. 'Sailor Song' at #1 is insane, if it gets to #1 officially it'll be the best number one since I started following the charts in 2011 *_*
  3. my semi looking super strong! Joanna Newsom, Caribou, Father John Misty and Djrum  going to be hard to choose a 12 it seems ~ excited to listen to that Godspeed song from semi 2, too, I presume it's from the new album of which I am yet to hear. I'm not super keen on the Geordie Greep solo record tbqh but it's still nice to see him pop up as I am a big black midi fan  also :o @ Editors showing up here - fun fact I quite often see a few members of the band drinking in my local craft beer bar :D
  4. what a bop ! surely this will be #1 within a few weeks (but please let 'Sailor Song' have a week or two first xxx)
  5. like you whenever someone says they don't like Taylor Swift then :heehee:
  6. hoping that 'Sailor Song' climbs to #2 tomorrow - seems like the type of track that will benefit from Sunday streams
  7. obviously rescheduling because of the new Craig Revel Horwood album x
  8. fixed it for you x
  9. I have voted x sorry for my inactivity throughout this month's competition, been a very stressful few weeks juggling work and family-related things. managed to find a few hours this morning to have a (very enjoyable) listen-through (ty Lindsey for the slightly extended deadline !!), very much looking forward to properly taking part next month
  10. here for 'Clean Baby Sleep White Noise' making the official top 100 x
  11. !!! this is incredible huge hit please
  12. why the question marks?
  13. Newcastle United 1-2 Manchester City Arsenal 4-1 Leicester City Brentford 1-1 West Ham United Chelsea 3-1 Brighton & Hove Albion Everton 2-2 Crystal Palace Nottingham Forest 1-1 Fulham Wolverhampton Wanderers 0-2 Liverpool Ipswich Town 1-4 Aston Villa Manchester United 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur AFC Bournemouth 2-1 Southampton
  14. despite my practically non-existent knowledge of what does and doesn't do well in BJSC I thought the same, deserves to be a massive smash !! (also would be gutted to see Dobago and Nelionoir DNQ RE: Scene's predictions !)
  15. would love to see this rise as high as the top 10 officially over the next few months!
  16. as subjective as ever I see  I've been a Weeknd fan since 2012 and personally love the song (as does my flatmate who's seen him live three times), I just don't think the track has been rolled out in a way that sets him up for a long running, high peaking hit. don't think there's much value in the 'poppy' argument either given the heavily pop inspired nature of his last few eras + consistent success they received. I think on the whole people have been overestimating how much of a chart force he is in 2024 tbf
  17. this is a take! in 2016 the chances of a track even vaguely alternative hitting the top 40 were slim to none, at one point it felt that if it wasn't a tropical house inspired radio friendly pop song with trap beats throughout it was impossible for it to be a hit!
  18. this summer has been excruciatingly slow in places I'll admit, but as regards to genre variety the charts have been more interesting and varied than they have been since 2014, I think. there's been such a prominent overlap between chart hits and the most critically acclaimed songs this year which I think speaks of the variety. this is the most invested I've been in the charts since 2016 when streaming all of a sudden made the charts painfully dull
  19. back in the top 50 :cheer:
  20. Utopia !! that Or:la song was one of my potentials for last month, wishing it success
  21. you never know!
  22. I'm potentially here for a listenthrough on monday if anyone is happy to oblige ;0
  23. this sounds right up my street!
