find 'APT' quite grating these days so hoping the brilliant 'Messy' can snatch #1

would be lovely to see 5 or 6 new releases making top 40 come next Friday, fingers crossed :D

hoping to tune in for most of this today while I deep clean my fridge !!

LOVING this on first listen <333 seeing a lot of hate for 'Childlike Things' online but its one of my faves atm oops :heehee:

a good point, though that could be said about the contents of every mainstream UK radio playlist for the last 5 or so years :heehee: think the days of a song being playlisted by Capital/R1 going hand in hand with being a chart hit are long gone, unfortunately

surely this won't DNQ :o I hope not anyway <3

I hope so !! we could do with a good clear out. what else is out apart from new Bruno/Central Cee's new album?

early contender for worst song title of the year x

quite crazy how female oriented this playlist is (97% by my calculations !!), shows how dominant female fronted pop has become in the charts in the last 18 months :o

'TANGZ' might be my favourite so far (barring 006 which I haven't heard yet) - love the dark vibes <333

taste !! mercifully the Oklou song Jade sent was a different one that I tried to confirm so I might try and send it again later in the year  don't recognise many tracks this month initially, but lovely to see Otha, Japanese Breakfast, Blanck Mass, Sleater-Kinney and Amyl & The Sniffers sent !!!

going to make an attempt to never listen to 'GBP' as I know it's going to be awful :magic: wish me luck

I think I've just about got away with it  (I would have reconfirmed sooner had I 1) had anything else in mind until an hour ago and 2) got out of the office sooner than 10 tonight xx)

very pleased to see 'Headlock' finally make the top 40 (the best song from an equally brilliant album that deserves a lot more attention)! plenty of new ones also I still need to listen to - I quite enjoyed the Hozier cover of 'Do I Wanna Know' on first listen + need to check out the Doechii, Sam Barber, Braelyn Rankins & SZA tunes :D EDIT - a little disappointed not to see JADE get another pre-album top 40, not my favourite of the era so far but was hoping for at least low top 40 this week :(

had a particularly eventful few days, presuming I'm too late to reconfirm, but attempted to do so anyway just on the off-chance !! 🤞🤞 regardless, excited to see which song was chosen from the mysterious quadruple-confirmed artist that I may or may have not have attempted myself :D

i knew this would happen😢 got another potential in mind that also might have been confirmed already x

confirmed !! tho I would be very surprised if someone hasn't got there before me

'Bug' for top 40 plz *_____* <3

I have a good feeling about my song for this month, a gloomy trance-inspired dance-pop track from an artist getting a lot of acclaim rn, though I have a suspicion it might get entered by someone else if I don't get there in time :D

this to happen plz *_______*

really not feeling the love w this one, not a patch on 'Water' :(

I was really hoping to see 'Peggy' sneak into the top 40 over New Year, unfortunately its moment seems to have gone :( although very much here for 'Headlock' catching on ! its trajectory reminds me of 'Diet Pepsi' so far - hoping it'll explode in a week or two xx

loving the NOTION remix ! very pleased this is shaping up to be a top 10/5 hit <3
