  1. I agree really, it never looked close to even going top 10 in all honesty :o
  2. 19. (**) 694 Alexandra Burke – Hallelujah http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/XFACTWIN08.JPG Chart Run - (19) [1 wk] Oh dear, Alexandra is our highest new entry as expected, but only makes #19. Whilst I didn't really expect a new entry at #1, I really didn't expect it to be this low tbh. There were 73 charts this week, and while she appeared at #1 in 5 of them, she was only in 23 out of the 73. I'm not sure what to expect for it next week, a rise is inevitable, but how high can she go? 0H-YpfWwNFc
  3. 20. (25) 652 Beyonce – Single Ladies http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/7965/singleladiesputaringoniqd5.png Chart Run – (62-60-42-25-20) [5 wks] The top 20 starts with a decent 5 place rise for Beyonce, not really sure how much higher it can go though because it doesn't seem to have a UK release date? We shall see I guess :o REHbgBPkvEE
  4. 22. (11) 603 Same Difference – We R One [6 wks] (56-20-15-8-11-22) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/88697414672.JPG 21. (22) 651 P!nk – Sober [6 wks] (75-58-45-25-22-21) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/88697425072.JPG Just missing out on the top 20 is P!nk, who was an early contender for Xmas #1 until the release date moved, and in all honesty I don't think she's going to get close now, only rising 1 place this week. Same Difference drop 11, oh well
  5. 24. (33) 571 Mariah Carey – All I Want For Christmas Is You [12 wks] (38-19-18-34-x-39-15-7-8-44-x-64-33-24) http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/5518/tmpphpujkascoo5.jpg 23. (27) 576 Ladyhawke – My Delirium [6 wks] (48-46-30-26-27-23) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/MODCDS64.JPG Ladyhawke rises up 4 places this week, she's my personal #1, so yeah, pleased about that  Mariah also rises, but like The Pogues, she is much lower than last year. Bunch of scrooges on BJ this year then, myself included
  6. 26. (18) 537 T.I. feat Rihanna – Live Your Life [11 wks] (64-54-62-51-44-18-12-13-13-18-26) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/AT0325CD.JPG 25. (34) 538 Frankmusik – 3 Little Words [6 wks] (45-36-41-27-34-25) http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/3250/frankmusikpe7.jpg Frankmusik is at #25, and seems to have won the battle of the BJSC songs against La Roux, which probably doesn't make up for it losing that, but a good rise nonetheless  T.I. is at #26, and has shown that a male artist can drag down a BuzzJack female favourite, see James Morrison/Nelly Furtado for further evidence of that, although that is still to come.....
  7. A person :o I think i've started a bit early today, but I want to finish before the inferior chart at 4pm :teresa:
  8. 28. (19) 513 Christian Falk feat. Robyn – Dream On [8 wks] (49-19-11-11-11-10-19-28) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/DATA208CDX.JPG 27. (29) 529 Snow Patrol – Crack The Shutters [4 wks] (64-30-29-27) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1794020.JPG Snow Patrol continue to rise, with another small rise this week, I don't expect Crack The Shutters to rise much more though as it's not been released. At #28 is Christian Falk, which is slipping quite fast now after 1 week in the top 10.
  9. 30. (39) 489 La Roux – Quicksand [7 wks] (67-52-61-58-55-39-30) http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/1834/larouxquicksanddf1.jpg 29. (37) 497 Lady GaGa – Poker Face [14 wks] (71-70-72-x-70-56-x-75-55-37-40-40-36-29-37-29) http://i37.tinypic.com/4vfkea.jpg We kick the top 30 off with 2 risers, and also 2 artists who are set to be big in 2009. The latest BJSC winner La Roux reaches a new peak of 30, rising up 9. Lady GaGa also has a good rise of 8 places, and she still has 1 more song to come :o
  10. It is :P Not at all, i've watched some of his stuff before and don't think I've laughed once at him tbh :(
  11. I'll probably do the rest of the chart tomorrow now, to allow people to catch up and stuff :P I may reappear though for a bit later to do 30-21, we shall see ^_^
  12. 32. (24) 393 Duffy – Rain On Your Parade [8 wks] (47-21-16-10-9-14-24-32) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1789249.JPG 31. (48) 446 Lily Allen – The Fear [2 wks] (48-31) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/CDR6764.JPG Just missing out on the top 30 this week is Lily Allen, who is looking set to keep a lot of the popularity she had back in 2006, well on BuzzJack anyway. Expect The Fear to rise more in the next few weeks. Duffy drops 8 with Rain On Your Parade, which didn't reach the same heights as Mercy or Warwick Avenue, both of which will be high in the Year-End Multichart I'm sure :o
  13. 34. (64) 379 The Pogues/Kirsty MacColl – Fairytale Of New York [11 wks] (22-12-38-55-x-52-26-15-20-50-x-64-34) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/POGUEPRECDS.JPG 33. (20) 387 Leona Lewis – Forgive Me [14 wks] (52-17-11-8-6-5-5-5-5-8-10-15-20-33) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/LEOANLCDS.JPG The Pogues score the biggest rise in the Multichart this week, rising 30 places from 64-34. Whilst this is a good rise, it still leaves the song 19 places lower than it reached last Christmas, maybe it will rise next week? Also Leona drops, but like The Saturdays focus has moved to the new single.
  14. 36. (28) 364 Will Young – Grace [6 wks] (54-41-40-24-28-36) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/88697419892.JPG 35. (**) 365 Geraldine McQueen – Once Upon A Christmas Song [1 wk] (35) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1793980.JPG Will Young also drops 8, he is more popular on BJ than the Multichart ever suggests, we just need a few more of the big Will fans to do some charts :P And Geraldine McQueen is at #35, our 2nd highest new entry of the chart. I personally think the joke was old after about 5 minutes of the first show, but people must be liking it still  Must be the fact that I've never liked Peter Kay....
  15. 38. (30) 342 The Saturdays – Up [15 wks] (32-10-6-6-7-5-3-3-4-8-13-16-22-30-38) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1785660.JPG 37. (38) 358 Coldplay – Lost! [9 wks] (54-35-38-30-30-25-33-38-37) http://img374.imageshack.us/img374/1959/200pxlostcoveryv5.jpg The Saturdays drop 8 to 38 with Up, but the focus is well and truly on Issues now, which is still to come :D Coldplay are our first rise in the top 40, only by 1 place though.
  16. Let's start the top 40 :o 40. (26) 320 Madonna – Miles Away [8 wks] (75-62-35-27-20-23-26-40) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/MADONMILCDS.JPG 39. (35) 321 Oasis – I’m Outta Time [6 wks] (62-54-52-45-35-39) http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/RKIDSCD55.JPG We kick the top 40 off with 2 more drops, from Madonna and Oasis. Madonna has done the classic "flop in official chart = flop in multichart" with Miles Away, as her last 2 songs both went to #1. Oasis have done alright though, especially considering how disliked they seem to be on BJ
  17. The top 40 will come later or tomorrow, because I've not done any of the typing up for it yet  We have 2 New Entries left, along with quite a few climbers :o
  18. 45. (51) 293 Kings Of Leon – Sex On Fire [18 wks] (44-36-22-14-5-3-4-6-8-8-10-17-19-29-37-36-51-45) 44. (**) 295 Jeff Buckley – Hallelujah [1 wk] (44) 43. (32) 297 Christina Aguilera – Keeps Gettin’ Better [15 wks] (54-23-19-15-12-12-14-13-10-7-9-12-17-32-43) 42. (41) 304 Boyzone – Better [4 wks] (68-58-41-42) 41. (31) 306 Guru Josh Project – Infinity 2008 [9 wks] (44-16-11-14-14-19-19-31-41) Not much of note here either haha, Jeff Buckley is the 3rd highest new entry this week, doing quite well to make #44 in the chart. Apart from that, there’s 3 drops, and a 6 place climb for Sex On Fire, which has done really well in the Multichart.
  19. 50. (46) 230 Chris Brown/Keri Hilson – Superhuman [9 wks] (65-37-30-26-31-31-34-46-50) 49. (60) 260 Basshunter – I Miss You [2 wks] (60-49) 48. (47) 263 The Script – Breakeven [8 wks] (58-42-39-34-34-46-47-48) 47. (43) 267 Akon – Right Now (Na Na Na) [5 wks] (74-54-49-43-47) 46. (36) 284 Miley Cyrus – 7 Things [11 wks] (63-48-43-31-25-23-32-38-35-36-46) Not much of note in this bunch really, 4 drops for old songs, and Basshunter rise up 11, although that’s out this week, so probably won’t rise much more.
  20. 55. (**) 203 Keane – Perfect Symmetry [1 wk] (55) 54. (57) 204 Kevin Rudolf – Let It Rock [3 wks] (63-57-54) 53. (56) 219 Kanye West – Heartless [3 wks] (66-56-53) 52. (49) 220 Jennifer Hudson – Spotlight [17 wks] (66-44-33-24-11-10-10-9-16-15-13-20-28-33-44-49-52) 51. (42) 222 Neon Neon – Dream Cars [5 wks] (57-51-47-42-51) Another new entry appears here, meaning only 3 remain now. It’s Keane this time, with Perfect Symmetry. It should go top 40 in the coming weeks, maybe even top 30. Kevin Rudolf and Kanye West also rise up a few places each, although both may not go much higher.
  21. It made #83 in Multichart #132 ^_^
  22. 60. (**) 186 Agnes Carlsson – Release Me [1 wk] (60) 59. (59) 191 Leon Jackson – Creative [2 wks] (59-59) 58. (70) 199 NeYo – Mad [2 wks] (70-58) 57. (40) 200 Kanye West – Love Lockdown [13 wks] (55-31-33-28-27-22-20-17-19-21-28-40-57) 56. (RE) 201 Alesha Dixon – Breathe Slow [3 wks] (72-69-x-56) Another new entry drops out before the top 40 at #60 this week, although Agnes Carlsson has done well. Again I believe this is due to the BJSC, and this hasn’t even been entered yet, so expect it to do very well in next month’s contest. Alesha Dixon is our 2nd re-entry, who randomly dropped out last week. NeYo gives us our third rise with Mad, which is likely to rise again in the next few weeks.
  23. 65. (45) 179 P!nk – So What [19 wks] (17-13-4-3-2-1-1-1-1-1-2-6-7-12-17-22-32-45-65) 64. (RE) 180 Florence & The Machine – Dog Days Are Over [2 wks] (75-x-64) 63. (52) 181 Lemar – If She Knew [7 wks] (39-34-26-26-40-52-63) 62. (66) 184 Britney Spears – If U Seek Amy [2 wks] (66-62) 61. (67) 185 Britney Spears – Amnesia [2 wks] (67-61) The 65-61 part of the chart sees our first rise of the chart, coming from If U Seek Amy, a Britney album track? Either that or a future Britney single, I do not know. She also rises with Amnesia, which I believe is a bonus track on the album. As you can tell, I’m not the biggest Britney fan ever! We also see one of the 2 re-entries, coming from Florence & The Machine, which re-enters and beats the previous peak by 11 places for some reason. Lemar and P!nk drop.
  24. 70. (69) 169 Franz Ferdinand – Ulysses [2 wks] (69-70) 69. (**) 170 Lady GaGa – Christmas Tree [1 wk] (69) 68. (54) 171 Santogold – Say Aha [6 wks] (66-59-66-53-54-68) 67. (**) 171 Wiley – Cash In My Pocket [1 wk] (67) 66. (61) 172 The Killers – Spaceman [2 wks] (61-66) We lose 2 more of our new entries in this next group of 5, with Lady GaGa entering with what sounds like a festive hit  I’ve not heard it, but it might be half decent, because not many Christmas songs have charted this year! Also Wiley enters, randomly late. The other 3 are all drops, which is slightly disappointing for Franz Ferdinand and The Killers as they’ve not been released yet, but both should rise back up again.
  25. Let's go :o 75. (**) 155 Kaiser Chiefs – Good Days Bad Days [1 wk] (75) 74. (**) 157 Britney Spears – My Only Wish (This Year) [1 wk] (74) 73. (44) 162 The X-Factor Finalists – Hero [8 wks] (46-24-22-24-28-37-44-73) 72. (**) 162 Darin feat. Kat DeLuna – Breathing Your Love [1 wk] (72) 71. (55) 165 Brandy – Right Here [17 wks] (64-56-40-35-23-24-23-27-29-44-48-47-56-48-57-55-71) We start the chart with 3 of the 10 new entries, these come from Kaiser Chiefs, a Britney song from 2000, her first of 5 in this week’s chart, and Darin, who is charting because of the BJSC I believe. The X-Factor finalists suffer the biggest drop in the chart this week, dropping 29 places, and also Brandy suffers quite a big drop, but she’s done well to score 17 weeks in the Chart, especially considering a low-ish peak of #23.
