In terms of sales, the #1 singles in 2009 sold pretty similarly to the ones in 2015, after the addition of streaming. From June-October 2009, the average #1 single sold 71,593 copies, whilst in 2015, the average #1 in the same period sold 73,797 units (streaming makes up 18,290 of those units), so the singles market is pretty much unchanged in terms of 'units', even if sales were 'huge' back then.

FFTL has sold 1,643,000 copies worldwide, only counting the sales in the 18 weeks it was on the UWC chart. Crazy to think that it's sold over 2 million worldwide...
