Heart have announced a festive event featuring Take That and more on December 14th with NatWest at Royal Albert Hall. I wonder how Capital will respond to this for Jingle Bell Ball this time….

Maybe also Beabadoobee

Unless Lewis is announced for Jingle Bell Ball, probably not They should re-add Alessi and Freya though

As long as there’s a remix You already know which 2 female superstars I want there (Liv Deano & Langley)…. I also want to see F3MII, RAYE, Dua (as a recurrent) Ashe, Teddy Swims, Anderson Paak, James Arthur, Shaggy, Lukas Graham and Remember Monday added, at least 40+ throwbacks and for Bruno, Bella and a few others to leave playlist and go on recurrent/removed completely

Ella is coming for the number one spot now

OK. Looking forward to seeing it

Don’t see Riviera included though

OK Joseph

Did that have Jazz?

Even Choosin Texas, I Just Might, Earrings, Babydoll (Jamie Miller) Dracula and New Religion are there too

Let’s push for Spandau Ballet - True or any Jazz song next

Yes I mean throughout the whole 17 year chart history - those 2 songs are the oldest to chart

Yes, he was the one of the oldest “people” to chart before alongside Dame Vera Lynn before they both sadly passed away. Therefore, “We’ll Meet Again” and also “Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead” are the oldest songs to ever chart

New subscription now launched with ad-free recurrents, priority events and a weekly newsletter

What do you reckon the oldest Xmas song is to chart?

Also Will Manning said “oldest song ever to chart” when referring to Phillip Bailey/Phil Collins. I thought that was Rule Britannia and Ode to Joy till I saw that those versions were released in the 90s and early 00s

ADÉLA is now in Big Top 40, as are Wretch 32

Are you happy ADÉLA is now in chart? @Jay79x

Maybe it will eventually If Nicole Kidman had a remix, who would feature?

Luckily, Macklemore isn’t here but we do have Hugel at number one, as well as his collaborator Imael Angel entering and other new entries featuring ADÉLA (x2), James Arthur, Phil Collins, Troye Sivan, Wretch 32, Kings of Leon and Teddy Swims (re and new entry)

What was controversial about Ariana? And yes, P!nk hasn’t shown on Capital since 2023 - not sure why?

She was on Derulo’s EP earlier this year - I thought she was real

Wonder if Freya Skye’s new one will be added alongside new Tinie Tempah, John Legend, Rose, James Arthur, Morgan Wallen and Clean Bandit
