Perrie only had 1 week in the chart

Maybe some backlash happened (maybe those snubbed ballers are racist/sexist/homophobic, like Kneecap or have had some backlash)

Don’t forget tickets are not sold out yet. Zara came on the top 40 and yet she turned down the Ball for Norway, same for Alex, Freya and Take That with their commitments. Can they get Olivia Dean and Sombr on instead???

Just saw Pussycat Dolls cancelled the US tour meaning they may be doing Summertime Ball after all Edit - false alarm - they are doing a pride show still on the day

Eli probably because of that Zara remix of Crush

So far in the last few months, they had Cain Walker, HAVEN, Jerry’s Sound Room, Owen James, Die WBL and Josh Fawaz in the top 40

Madonna and Sabrina are the new number one, Zara came on, 3x Michael Jackson (including Human Nature), 2 AI songs (was certain that they were AI), 2 new Gaga songs and new Ella Langley and Alex Warren plus a surprise Chemical Brothers throwback. Pretty interesting top 40, am I right???

That should be a hit by the end of this month

And yet Capital hasn’t playlisted Man I Need, Hands on Me, Living Life, DTMF, White Keys, Leak It, Devotion, WGFT, My Loving and removed half the recurrent songs on KISS (Golden, Shake it to the MAX, Illegal, etc) Did they turn down Summertime Ball or something???

Take this up with Bridget Phillipson, MP

And yet Capital hasn’t playlisted Man I Need, Hands on Me, Living Life, DTMF, White Keys, Leak It, Devotion, WGFT, My Loving and removed half the recurrent songs on here (Golden, Illegal, etc) Did they turn down Summertime Ball or something???

Stateside is recurrent, maybe they’ve broken the playlist and Pussycat Dolls were never meant to play at STB. They’re in US and with Take That in Coventry, it’s certain that Calvin Harris will headline. Since tickets have yet to sell out, they must add a massive name (or a few surprise names) next week and also to confirm the Bong Man’s appearance

I think it’s the JTWYA remix. Didn’t we already have that song. At this point Imposter, Bittersweet and Blink will have to come back on

Is there any point for them to be tracking down re-adds on insta too???

As we expected. According to Instagram, there are some extra adds in this week’s playlist post. Can someone clarify what they are???

Never

She released it first and she was played around 2024-2025

I mean with another band like Le-Sserafim or TWICE

Mimi Webb needs to make a K-Pop song in future

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AT LAST. A K-POP STATION FOR EVERYONE TO ENJOY FOLLOWING CAPITAL K-POP (not full station yet). They should do BBC Radio 1 K-Pop

Any particular reason??

Maybe for the next Global’s Make Some Noise or September Challenge

Bit unrelated but Rayo did the World’s Biggest Music Quiz hosted by Ant & Dec where they brought nearly every radio station together to raise some money for Cash for Kids and to see if they can break a record for holding the largest audience quiz. They also had a few celebrity cameos such as Martin Freeman, Akon, Billy Rae Cyrus and Alex Warren.

That’s what Jimmy Hill said for Friday’s show. Probably a EE Official Big Top 40 number one then and a Summertime Ball surprise More summer tunes are now on Capital Anthems

I know but Capital hits often do graduate to Heart and some songs that are on Heart are also on Capital
