Well exactly, I don't think many people listen to a song more than 100 times let alone 150. The proportion of people that do must be relatively minor and so have a negligible effect on the chart. It's not people listening to Shape of You 150 times that kept it up, it's millions of people listening to it say 5 times a week for 10 weeks that keeps it up there.

By a cap would you be saying that once someone has listened to a song 150 times it should no longer count?

Beyonce long gave up caring about chart placings as far as I can tell. Otherwise she would have carried on making music of the I am Sasha Fierce ilk rather than developing her craft and becoming more critically acclaimed etc.

At least it will be a female winner again for the first time in ages! Hope it's Jorja Smith, saw her in NYC this summer and she was great.

No More Sad Songs is my fave from this LM era along with Touch (In contrast Power and Reggaeton Lento are dreadful). Also Chained to the Rhythm is the only good KP song in years. Glad both are out early.
