  1. Stars and Dolly rockers off to an unexpected good start.
  2. Thanks for your 12 points. I sent Delta and Esmee before, sadly I couldn't find anything quite as good this time. My entry is only to have the impact of Sean Kingston.
  3. Greenland makes the final again! ;)

This is excellent. Wish I had a chance to vote for it.
  5. It was on Radio 2. Not sure about Radio 1, they played it but not sure if it was on the playlist.
  6. A reason why having a big final is good, as it encourages one to take a chance.
  7. I really loved it at first. I think I have it 9/10 in the first round but it went downhill from then. Some of the lyrics are inventive like wearing your last name. :D
  8. My look at the personal charts suggests otherwise. If it's the same people voting in BJSC that have entered personal charts then n-Dubz are in for a lot of points today.
  9. I entered Aaron Fresh. It's not the best entry, I rank 8 BJSC entries above. It's not got female vocals nor is pop, so I think BB will be hard on it. I was expected a video to turn up for it but that didn't materialise. I would be happy with any top 35 position but expect it to be lower. It may even come last as I don't see who it might appeal to. A good song doesn't do much if there is no matching demographics. Anyway, I think he'll be big in the future no matter the result today. I'm glad I entered due to the quality of other entries most of which where new to me, and am happy at the format which I think should be continued as it allows more diversity entry.
  10. I think Nonsuch has the win in the bag. While it's not the very best entry, the best ones are little to off the norm for BJ to give high points. The only exception could be N-Dubz&Bodyrox which I'm predicting to be a close second.
  11. The boy does nothing. Back at 6pm ish.

  13. Mark them all out of 10 or something, then go back over the ones with a similar score and compare them. If you can compare 10, then you can compare 50 or a 100, or a 1000.
  14. The former. It's a bit of a cheapo entry if it's already in your charts.
  15. Facts and figures - Of Greenlands 124 points Male/Female split 56 points went to songs with female vocals. 35 points went to songs with male vocals. 33 points went to songs when a male or female vocalist is not dominant. Solo artists? 63 points went to bands, groups, or multiple artists. 61 points went to solo artists Length of song (3:32 used as 23 of the entries are under and 23 over that length of time) 100 points went to songs over 3:32 minutes in length. 24 points went to songs of 3:32 minutes or less. Artist charted in UK or US? (to my knowledge, UK Top75/ US Hot 100 only). (Of the entries 20 of the songs have a Video, 26 do not.) 68 points to songs without videos. 56 points to songs with videos. Artists from English speaking countries? - 26 of the 46 entries I believe are from English speaking countries.(Made a guess in a few cases.) 82 points to songs by artists from English countries. 42 points to songs by artists from none English countries.
  16. Greenland have voted!
  17. Conservative Liberal Democrat coalition agreements Agreements between the Liberal Democrats and the Conservative Party was reached May 11, 2010. http://libdems.org.uk/news_detail.aspx?tit...17-7778979458ff I must say most of this is really good if it actually gets done.
  18. Nick Clegg's list reportedly http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/interac...tion-nick-clegg If true, this list is fascinating. 1) Red line. This one can guess is Tory red lines. Things the Tories will deal with, Europe, immigration and Trident. 2) AV, Alternative voting. A referendum on this perhaps? 3) Party funding. It looks as if no longer will parties be funded by rich people/organisations. 4) Fixed term parliaments. But how long we can only guess at. 5 & 6) Posts and MP's. One LibDem in each ministry? Looks like it.
  19. Introducing Caribbean born Aaron Hinton aka Aaron Fresh. This was recorded two years ago(when he was 15). He has come a long way since then. 1DUpZhoddCk
  20. Singles only most weeks. I don't house anything, check for a charts on BJ mostly, polyhex also.

  22. Been through the entries twice now. The standard is very high. It's really impressive how many outstanding tunes are amoung the entries. From the first listen to the second the best gainers for me have been the foreign language entries and those a bit different and the biggest falls the commercial records especially those with commercial videos.
  23. Some really weird odds predictions imo. The last two favourites are unlikely to get an votes from me.
  24. Daily Mirror, Liverpool Echo, Daily Record and Sunday Mirror supported Labour Guardian and Sunday Observer supported LibDems. More on the Tory side however. Daily Express, Daily Telegraph, Sun, Times, Sunday Times, Sunday Telegraph, Evening Standard and News of the World.
  25. It's no longer possible. Hung parliament is only outcome of this election.
