2010 Week of Death
No it's not, but somewhat irrelevant here as the thread/poll is for the Top-10 Contenders for the week 21-27 Feb.

2010 Week of Death
Telephone has had a March release date for some time now. The situation was with Gaga being in the Uk and promoting on the Brits the song would have an impact on the top10. As it turns out the Brits promotion of Telephone turned out to be a bit of a disappointment.

If it's the same mp3 it counts only once. If you are buying a different version, like first time you bought the radio edit and second time you bought the album version then it will likely count twice (there are exceptions when more then three versions exist - depends on the OCC info)

The end of Billboard/Chart music's relevance?
There is a thread already about this for the UK http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=107452 I believe that charts is very relevant today. It proved itself in the UK by a push to get the Xmas #1 last christmas. An extra half a million sales(and £100K to charity) that would not of happened without the competition of a chart. The reality singers you refer to, those have a negative effect on real talented people being able to enter the music market.

Flo ft. Dizzee - You've Got the Dirtee Love
Yeah, I think FloCal has done about 15K today, being generous and multiple that by 4 days totals 60K sales.

Florence/Dizzy are double the others now.

Owl City is not falling really, the single version(now at #21) is rising in the chart while the radio edit falls. Overall Owl City is #2.

Owl city is now easily #2 when combined and seems to be pulling away. Or is it Helping Haiti dropping?

Heading for double the pop bars of the next best I think.

Flo ft. Dizzee - You've Got the Dirtee Love
#2 or #3 Can't catch Helping Haiti with it's physicals I don't think. May not catch Owl City either, although I expect Florence & Dizze to have double pop bars of everyone else sometime over the next 24 hours.

I think you mis-interpret the charts here. There are plenty of tunes that don't make the higher positions of the charts but are discovered over time and sell gradually, exceeding the sort of sales that you see from Florence+Dizzee over the next few days. The reason for the Florence/Dizzee mashup charting high is that many discovered it at once, as it didn't exist before and therfore wasn't available to buy over time.

Loads. Many are in Top10 now but have physicals out next week. In addition there is releases from Leona, Chipmonk, Sugababes and several more.

Unlikely, as Owl city are outselling Helping Haiti on iTunes, note the second version of the single in the mid 20's.

2010 Week of Death
Premier 3rd of March more likely. It also takes some time for the video to have an impact. Don't get me wrong it will likely be #1 when released in March but not Top10 in the week of death.

BRITs nominations in full
It's not about the award, but the performance. Alicia's single increased loads as did the Jay-z version. And don't forget she has the #1 album before the brits anyway.

BRITs nominations in full
I think it will be Florence and Alicia with no one else even being near.
