  1. Jay-Z - ESOM back to #10 after being out for several weeks now.

Yes. Looking at the reaction on the Irish iTunes Jason DeRulo is possibly a contender for the #1 spot.
  3. Here you go. http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j313/predicta/iTunes/iTunesIreland2010Feb20.png
  4. Not even close. Jason Derulo took the #6 spot.
  5. Little change to the one posted above a few hours ago.

No it's not, but somewhat irrelevant here as the thread/poll is for the Top-10 Contenders for the week 21-27 Feb.

Telephone has had a March release date for some time now. The situation was with Gaga being in the Uk and promoting on the Brits the song would have an impact on the top10. As it turns out the Brits promotion of Telephone turned out to be a bit of a disappointment.
  8. Leona still #33 Telephone now firmly established in the iTunes Top40 after Hoover just outside for weeks.
  9. Surprised no Top5 for JLS – One Shot Alicia Keys - Empire State of Mind
  10. If it's the same mp3 it counts only once. If you are buying a different version, like first time you bought the radio edit and second time you bought the album version then it will likely count twice (there are exceptions when more then three versions exist - depends on the OCC info)

  12. Flo/Diz still increasing ....in a florence tone....Woooohoooo! Wooooohooooo! :P ;)
  13. There is a thread already about this for the UK http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=107452 I believe that charts is very relevant today. It proved itself in the UK by a push to get the Xmas #1 last christmas. An extra half a million sales(and £100K to charity) that would not of happened without the competition of a chart. The reality singers you refer to, those have a negative effect on real talented people being able to enter the music market.

I'm guessing Florence+Dizzee will be about #10 on Thursdays mids.
  15. Yeah, I think FloCal has done about 15K today, being generous and multiple that by 4 days totals 60K sales.
  16. Florence/Dizzy are double the others now.
  17. Owl City is not falling really, the single version(now at #21) is rising in the chart while the radio edit falls. Overall Owl City is #2.

That is in line with sales increases that past Brits have done. Going to be a closer album race this week between the Top4 then I previously thought.
  19. Owl city is now easily #2 when combined and seems to be pulling away. Or is it Helping Haiti dropping?

Much less. I would love to see the number of plays of none playlisted records in a week.

But instead they will playlist it and play it Monday week. The whole concept is way to slow and dull.

Another song pretty much like all her other stuff. No creativity or inspiration to it. Can't pronounce her words - "I got chew" - it's a mess. Lucky to stay on the playlist, it's not one I would be keeping personally and I do think Leona is an amazing singer, just that producing this second rate stuff I don't want to hear.

I agree they help a lot of UK artists and the playlist is mainly UK based. But they don't seem to grasp what of the british acts are catching on and response accordingly - hence the dinosaur aspect. They should be aware that Florence/Dizzy are iTunes #1 already and playlisted it today.
  24. Heading for double the pop bars of the next best I think.
