  1. No. It's that the single is released seperate to the album version.
  2. Seems unclear when poker face was released as a single, so maybe it didn't do well after all. What I mean by not being released basically amounts to how high it charted on the sales from the album version.
  3. What's the highest chart place of an unreleased single. Poker face did well last year but was it the best?

Make or break time then. It's got about 24 hours to push into the iTunes Top10.

    BBB is already Top5 ;)

http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j313/predicta/iTunes/iTunes2010Feb6.jpg Note the pop bars at #12 and #13. The bars feed are delayed(no idea why), but clearly a major change to move up a place to #12.

O your right, I just did a reload and pop bars are #13 but it's at position #12. Has it just been on TV or something, because that it quite a major jump. PS:Screen shot coming up.

It is #13 for me and not even close to moving up a place.

As your Irish, perhaps the popularity is limited to only Ireland (including Northern Ireland) as Jedward are Irish? I do not feel the popularity is crossing over to mainland UK. There is also a major difference between the iTunes popularity in Ireland and the UK with Jedward outselling Owl city 2:1 on the Irish iTunes, but on the UK iTunes it's Owl City outselling Jeward 2:1.

I gotta feeling it won't as single sales are high at the moment and Jedward is slipping fast on iTunes. If the downloads of Jedward slip to say #15, then even 15,000 physical sales most likely will see it missing Top5.
  11. Listening to this today on the radio. It's quite a good song but the problem is the subjkect matter is not the sort of thing you can relate to. So few would buy it although it's okay for radio music.
  12. Jedward still way clear at #1 in Ireland. It's clear they have more support in Ireland.

Now Jedward are down to #6 on iTunes. edit: Make clear I mean iTunes.
  14. Loving the way this is falling on iTunes. Now #6. With RATM beating Joseph McElderry at Christmas and Jedward falling quickly is seems the tide has turned for karaoke singers.

O I see, it's a sample. I didn't know what it was. Snap! took the single to #1 for six weeks and Top5 for eleven weeks so it's got a superb pedigree.

That's spin. It's hype also to big up a single that might flop like Jedward. They are not pre-orders to the customer. They are pre-orders from the label in preperation of sales.
  20. Most current physical singles are sold at £2.49 See here here and here for example. Some like Bad Romance even go for £1.99 Those single make a profit for everyone involved. So it's well to be expected that the Haiti relief single would cost to produce £2.49. With the price being £3.99 and a pound going to charity what's happening to the other 50 pence?
