These will get a boast. Is not SuBo performing?

I think the predictions can go in the pop forum, but the effect on the charts will be masssive. Those that perform will gets lots of extra downloads, especially the none pop like tunes. Florence could be back to Top10 again after the BRITs.

I stand corrected. I thought one of them dodgy version did chart. Maybe that was BigTop40 or something then.

Only a little if anything. Glee cast is gaining on Fireflies however.

GCC have really stalled haven't they. I'm going to be incorrect with my prediction that they would be Top10 by midnight.

Both Girls can't catch and Example will be Top10 on iTunes before midnight.

What a strangely worded question. There is NO such thing as chart registration. If you buy a single from an official download site it counts(There are a few OCC clauses but they are unlikely to apply). Buy enough of the singles and it will chart. If anyone buys an album that goes to the album chart, if you buy the single from an album that goes to the single chart. All rather simple. Does that answer the above questions?

I don't think that can be true. You can cover any song to my knowledge. The fact that Glee cast covered the song would seem to be a big indication this is a sun article.

Indeed. It takes far more effort to recover then release the bbetter singled in the first place. You would think record companies would of grasped this by now, but alas not.

Eek. Fan based buying only. Not good. Top20 or Top10 and quick desend.
  18. It's a really good classic song that few own a copy off. It charted before X-Factor, so that is not the reason for it's resurgance although it's appearance on XF gave it a temporary boast. As an instrumental and a sing along it works perfectly. All that makes it airplay and party friendly also. I do like the Glee cast version but prefer the original, due to the piano intro and guitar riff. Can now imagine DSB it will hang around the Top75 like Sex on Fire did last year.

Ego ahead of N-Dubs now. It might be possible for them to get in the top10 when JLS and Joe leave. If they miss that break then it will get tougher as Robbie Williams is a lot of bars ahead and Wiley may come to push the Saturdays down anyway.
  21. Or Shayne Ward - another forgotten. Someone made a good comment earlier that Joe McElderry has a novalty single. Basically they are all novalty winners and can only get a new promotion by re-appearing on X-Factor the following year. It seems to me the format has to radically change away from good karaote singers to performers of substance, people who can either write music or play an instrument. I doubt Simon will understand being to close to the action. One can only hope ITV will pull the plug sooner rather then later.
