No it's not common. I checked the ITUNES CHART since September 13th and the only ones found are: Daughtry - What About Now Miley Cyrus - Party In The U.S.A. Robbie Williams - You Know Me Daughty and Miley Cyrus made #11. Robbie Williams made #17 but most likely hasn't peaked yet.

Worldwide that is a tricky one as sales figures are not available everywhere. Maybe someone will know but I do not.
