If Delta decides to release In This Life, in the states or even here in the UK. I think she has to revamp the video. It just won't have a big impact otherwise because the lack of change of scenery is not too engaging. Delta doing her bits and pieces, fine and looks good but the constant white and the occasional cut to the black is a bit yawnworthy! The video is perfecty acceptable for Australia because she's as big as she is there but with the US/Europe, she needs to actually like arrive with a bang and the video just won't do that!

I think people need to get over the fact that they're together. Like seriously, so what if he's coming to join her for a while in Oz, it sounds like he's going there to work anyway so people just need to accept it and like get over it. -_- I'm bored of this entire thing, "he's ruining her career", there hasn't been a single ounce of proof of that yet. People presume because Brian's had a helping hand that its gonna be a failure! People are too quick to judge!! So in answer to your question that he might impact on how she's being so well recieved atm? I don't think he will have much of an impact. It all depends on whether its a quiet week for the tabloids and garbage mags, then they might try spinning something. But we'll wait and see!! Brian's album, the one he had the song dedicated to Delta on was still being written/recorded when he released it in Ireland. He was just testing the Irish waters before he continued I think and it had an amazing response so he's continued to work on the album.

I'm not surprised she cancelled what with all the talking she seems to have done recently. Hope she gives it a bit of a rest before coming back with a bang!! :)

I'm in two minds really, it works and then again it doesn't. Part of me wants a really unique, stand out name for it like IE and MI. Then the other part of me is pleased that she's gone for something simple and easily memorable!! Like an introduction to Delta at this moment in her life!! We'll have to wait and see, I think the press are wrong at this stage because where is the actual official confirmation from Delta/Sony BMG? Plus personally I think the album might be called In This Life, because of certain little things on the official website and I'll show you what I mean! I waited two anchious and annoyingly long weeks to hear it whilst I was on holiday, missed out on a ton but I FREAKING ADORE IT!! :wub: Its amazing!! :D Its so insanely cathcy and uplifting, I love it!! It does annoy me very slightly that all competitions etc are always for Australians only. It is just a teeny bit unfair on her loyal fanbase over here and in other parts of the world. -_- But good for the Aussies among us!! :)

Simple and very elegant!! Love it!! :D Only thing is they could of had more variations in the background, the constant white got a bit of a bore! And maybe too little was going on for it to have an impact on non Delta fans. But its great to have her back and the song is amazing too!! :wub:

According to my calculations, 6 out of the 15 songs on Mistaken Identity were about a love interest or relationship! So proportionally that means the album wasn't about damned Mark!! If the journo's had actually listened to the album rather than just gone for an easy headline they may have realised that but alas they didn't!! -_- And what you have to remember is that Mark came into her life when she was extremely vulnerable. Given that generally her emotions were heightened at that time, I'd say she just clung onto him. She needed something good to give her outlet from her struggles and give her hope when she needed it most. Which makes Mark all the more of a bast*rd for the way he went about ending the relationship. He took her for granted and I'm sort of glad that it ended when it did. Because now she's ended up with Brian, who quite cleary respects, cherishes, loves and is thankful for the presense of Delta in his life. Take away all the media c**p and she's probably with the right man for her [well in imo]. "I can't believe this happened so soon" .. I think she's refering to she's in hospital, then Mark sends her flowers, sparks fly etc and ta da a relationship starts. That she wasn't expecting to a find a partner so soon after/during a time of personal trauma! At least thats my take on it! Love, Kirsty xx
