Spice Girls - 'Forever'
What would've been your ideal campaign for Forever realistically? Single 1 - Holler Single 2 - Let Love Lead The Way/Original Christmas Song Double A Side Single 3 - If You Wanna Have Some Fun Forever Tracklist: 1. Right Back At Ya 2. Holler 3. Let Love Lead The Way 4. W.O.M.A.N. 5. If You Wanna Have Some Fun 6. Give You What You Want 7. Pain Proof 8. Oxygen 9. Weekend Love 10. Goodbye 1999 September 9th - MTV Video Music Awards, New York City (debut of song & performance) September 23rd - Much Music Awards, Toronto October 11th - Holler released in UK October 12th - ARIA Music Awards, Sydney November 1st - Forever released in the UK November 11th - MTV Europe Music Awards, Dublin (hosting & performing) November 29th - The Royal Variety Show, Birmingham December 8th - Billboard Music Awards, Las Vegas December 13th - Madame Tussauds Wax Work Reveal, London Let Love Lead The Way/Christmas Double A Side released in the UK 2000 January 17th - American Music Awards, Los Angeles March 3rd - BRIT Awards, London March 6th - If You Wanna Have Some Fun released in UK I would've liked them to do a stadium tour in 2000 and a greatest hits in November but we all know how much they were focusing on solo careers. I also would've picked a stronger song than Let Love Lead The Way for the Christmas release but I think it's the strongest ballad on there.

Always have so much love and respect for Mel, so glad to see she's in a much better place.

Viva Forever would be my favourite choice, I don't think it's appreciated as much as it should be.

British Music Experience - Spice Girls Exhibition
I still say they need to bring an official exhibition to the St Pancras Hotel with a boozy brunch and Union Jack sightseeing bus. It would surely be a hit.

I didn't say Victoria needs to go on tour. The beauty line is profitable but looking at the reunion from a business perspective, she could maximise sales. That's all I was saying!

Leigh-Anne ft Ayra Starr - My Love • 2nd Single
Damn, some unnecessary negative comments in here. She's doing fine. She's finding her feet as a solo artist and I'm seeing growth with each performance.

I also think Victoria needs to look at how a reunion could benefit her business, particularly the beauty range. Many popstars now have profitable beauty lines. Just imagine the content if each girl used Victoria's make-up & skincare and done a BTS make-up/skin care tutorial (I'm actually surprised she hasn't collaborated with the girls to do a limited edition Scary, Sporty, Ginger & Baby range). If she had a pop up store for each tour date alongside the Spice Girls merchandise, it's promoting her brand to 30/40k potential customers a night. Where else would she get that? Victoria is a savvy business woman, she needs to realise the potential in this. And regarding any performance anxieties, she could pre-record all her vocals like Gerita. I wouldn't be shocked if she re-joins and this is a stipulation in the contract.

Spice Girls - 'Forever'
I actually reached out to him a while back about a Forever documentary as I have collated footage from the era and he told me he wanted to veer away from the Spice Girls as there's so much out there already. More could've been covered for sure.

'Glory Days: Platinum Edition' • 4th Album • Part II
Yeah, apart from LM5 & Salute, I really don't rate any of their albums. I do think if they were to release a studio album in the future, it would be strong considering they've been able to take time with the solo ventures and work with producers outside of the Little Mix camp, which I think stunted them creatively.

Geri features in the new Robbie Williams documentary, with archive footage from Summer 2000. There's a funny moment where they make fun of Victoria's 'Out Of Your Mind'. All harmless of course.

I think you can imagine  it plays for around 1 minute or so. Good royalties for the girls aha.

Leigh-Anne ft Ayra Starr - My Love • 2nd Single
But nobody is saying it wasn't good. It's still a fantastic song with a great video and deserves more success.

I'm no longer a supporter of Geri since Tory-gate but this seems pretty authentic for her. And she seems pretty enthusiastic about it all. I think she's just in another stage of her life and I have no doubt she'll return to the stage if the right opportunity comes around *enough money from the promoters*

Ugh, this deserves so much more.

I remember the PR angle was that it was the first worldwide Pepsi commercial, so it was definitely shown in the US.

Spice Girls - Chart Runs & Sales Thread: Worldwide
I always wonder why they didn't tack on 'Mama' to the US single of 'Say You'll Be There' as it dropped on the same week as US Mother's Day.

Spice Girls - Chart Runs & Sales Thread: Worldwide
It was even less than that. From July to November they did around 15 bits of promotion as a four piece. Truly shocking. It just shows they were calling the shots and not manufactured puppets because what record label/management would allow that to happen?

Spice Girls - Chart Runs & Sales Thread: Worldwide
Billboard wrote an article that Virgin had sent Viva Forever to US radio but it didn't gain much traction as they were deemed a 'tween' act (and proved true by the audiences on tour being largely made up of them)

Thanks so much for sharing, incredible to finally have a US sales update. Who's the source?

Melanie C - 'This Time'
It was an utterly bizarre decision and screamed sell out, which is funny as she was peddling 'authenticity' at that time. I also think she had a difficult time grasping pop music and what people wanted from her. It was either terrible and cheesy like I Want Candy or something more rock-inspired, dreary and serious. She's only leaned into making credible pop music from VOM onwards. I'm glad to see her embrace it because self titled was easily her best output since Northern Star. Also, the b-sides this era were far better than a lot of album tracks. Fragile is one of my favourite Melanie C songs ever!

^ Right Back at Ya would be a fantastic opener and a good way to fill up the setlist.

The Single releases what would you change!?
Northern Star 1) Ga Ga 2) Northern Star 3) Never Be The Same Again 4) I Turn to You 5) Be The One If That Were Me was a serious misstep, I don't know what they were thinking. I think 'Be The One' would've been super radio friendly and sold the album a bit better over the Christmas period. She denied herself another easy hit. Forever 1) Goodbye 2) Holler 3) If You Wanna Have Some Fun/Let Love Lead The Way Echoing others comments, LLLTW was a pointless double A-side as Holler was already performing well and is largely forgotten. They should've just waited until January 2001 to get out a double A-Side and secure another #1.
