  1. I'd love to know how close Spiceworld was to the top when it was #2 for 5 weeks. Is there any information readily available? This is who they lost out to: 29 November: Let's Talk About Love - Céline Dion - 91,000 6 December: Let's Talk About Love - Céline Dion - 91,000 20 December: Let's Talk About Love - Céline Dion - 142,000 27 December: Let's Talk About Love - Céline Dion - 219,918 10 January: Urban Hymns - The Verve - 78,000
  2. Now pictured with Liz Truss & giving her words of encouragement. Truly vile.
  3. Didn't like Little Mix's music but is working with producers that were involved in it? Make it make sense.
  4. Yet on the same tour here is Jesy going to comfort an upset Leigh-Anne: I think people are looking too much into things and trying to push a certain narrative about a feud between Leigh-Anne and Jesy. It's clear tensions grew in 2020 after Jesy was approached about her blackfishing and refused to grow from it. But I don't think anything too serious happened before this.
  5. This is the same era where Leigh-Anne broke into tears describing what she loved about Jesy. Don't think this is true.
  6. Bounce Back arguably had the biggest promo campaign and underperformed. I even remember seeing posters all over my city. Definitely a big misfire.
  7. Think the note perfect part was the pre-record kicking in

The odds they defied is something truly remarkable. When you think of the politics involved in the X Factor and how they managed to manoeuvre through that and actually go on to win is an achievement in itself. To then to go on to have a career spanning a decade with sell out arena shows and huge hits is something else entirely. I do think they were deserving of more global success but that was out of their hands and more down to the lack of push from their team/record label. It's a niggle I'll always have because you cannot tell me the likes of 'Secret Love Song', Touch' & 'Sweet Melody' shouldn't have dominated worldwide. But the girls did all they could and have worked so hard. Can't wait for Saturday!
  9. Oh Blossoms weren't on the upcoming releases list I had read! Seems to be a hectic few weeks
  10. That's what I thought, the week before April 29th looks to be slightly more quieter?
  11. Do you think we should start a campaign to #1 a la Sweet Melody? It would be great to see them get the #1 album for Friday 13th May ahead of their last show on the 14th.
  12. The Salute Tour (02 Arena, London, 2014) Capital Summertime Ball (Wembley Stadium, London, 2015) The Get Weird Tour (The Hydro, Glasgow, 2016) The Summer Shout Out Tour (Edinburgh, 2017) The Glory Days Tour (The Hydro, Glasgow, 2017) x2 The Greatest Hits Tour (Falkirk, 2018) The LM5 Tour (The Hydro, Glasgow, 2019) and going to see them at the Confetti Tour! Sad it will be the last for a while.
  13. I hope we get some pictures of them together at the wedding next weekend. Would be amazing to see Mel B & Victoria together again!

  15. Wow, great to see Spice return to the Top 5! Part of me wishes they had done that little bit more, even just an Instagram live with each other would've been great to see. Just something special for the fans. But hey, I'll take what I can get!

  17. This is the two that came to my head! I also think 'Boy' could've been a contender.
  18. Just out of curiosity, which two tracks do you think Jesy would've picked for her vinyl?

  21. Sure, it doesn't reach the heights of the first two, but it definitely has some great moments on it. Wasting My Time has actually become one of my favourite Spice songs. Victoria sounds fantastic! I actually think Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis would have been far better to the lead the album, and Dark Child produce a couple of tracks. The complete reverse of what actually happened. Oxygen & If You Wanna Have Some Fun definitely capture the Spice Girls sound (the latter could easily be on Spice) without re-treading old ground. Whereas with Dark Child, it sounded like he ran out of ideas and gave them rejects. The whole album merges into one (I feel as though Brandy's Moonlight suffers the same outcome). The Spice Girls were not known for that. They deserved better. And I will say, Virgin Records have a lot of explaining to do. I'm not sure if it was the girls themselves who were unmanageable, but for them to let Mel B release a whole album one month before Forever and Melanie C release a single throughout the campaign was a disastrous. They should've dedicated September to at least the end of the year for Spice duties.
  22. I would keep it similar to the 2019 Tour but with a few solo songs and guest appearances! Spice Up Your Life If U Can’t Dance Who Do You Think You Are? Love Thing/Do It/Something Kinda Funny Mash-Up Move Over (following into interlude) Say You’ll Be There Holler/Chant I Want You Back (featuring Missy Elliott) Get Your Freak On/Work It (Missy Elliott Guest - Maybe just Mel on stage because imagine Geri during this lol) Never Give Up On the Good Times We Are Family Too Much It’s Raining Men (Group) Goodbye Mama What Took You So Long (Acoustic - Group) When You’re Gone (featuring Bryan Adams - Group) 2 Become 1 Stop Viva Forever Wannabe

There was clearly a discussion about their sales not being updated, I was just simply stating if Columbia updated them it would boost their WW sales by a huge amount - I never said those were correct figures, just what is likely. And as Robbie said, if Sweet Melody & Wasabi can sell both 100k without any promo, the songs that did get pushed could receive a lot more sales than you think! It's really not that serious.
  24. Is there anywhere to view this chart in full? Would love to see it!
