I'm watching an Official Chart Company Little Mix Top 10 and it's listing that 'Move' has sold 550,000, 'Love Me Like You' 560,000, 'Hair' 620,000 & 'Wings' 640,000.

I was born in March 1996 so I missed the girls at their peak. However, they were present ever since I can remember. I have two older sisters so of course they were fans. I remember one my siblings getting the Mel B Concert Collection Doll for her birthday in September 1999, that could be where my obsession stemmed from (I still remember the smell of the roll on :wub:). I then started to collect the dolls and any CD I could find (my poor Dad getting dragged by a four year old to HMV every weekend for a Spice Girls CD lol) and even managed to snag old Pepsi posters from my local newsagent. The Forever era was the first time I can remember seeing the Spice Girls active as a group and not just from old VHS/CD's. I recall watching The Box in hopes that the girls would come on and when the music video for 'Holler' came on I praying that Geri would make an appearance haha. My parents also bought me the album for Christmas and I have memories of listening to Tell Me Why before Christmas dinner. I also have a vague memory of reading the newspapers and seeing Mel C on the front cover (at the album launch party) sticking the fingers up to the press. My love for the girls has stayed throughout the years and the impact they've had on my life is undeniable. They were my introduction to pop music and what a group to begin with.

It's also Platinum in Ireland!

Seriously, I'd even take a performance of "Touch - Acoustic". They clearly don't have enough time to rehearse for a full choreographed performance, so showcase your vocals to the general public ladies.

I've just read 95,000 sales, 67,000 of which are digital sales. The biggest opening week for digital sales this year.

I think "Wings" continual push backs had a massive part to play in that, it was released on September 3rd 2012 with "DNA" premiering less than a month later. It definitely felt like a rushed single campaign. We got two television performances on T4 and The X Factor and then the single was abandoned quite abruptly, with them opting to perform "Change Your Life" on Children In Need on the week of its release. It appears they got forgotten in the abundance of new releases in Q4 being a new act and all, as well as facing stiff competition from Bruno and 1D. I do think the single went down well with the general public, although it may not be the most remembered, it is one of their more favoured singles.

I actually think them taking breaks here and there makes them enjoy and appreciate their job more. It also allows them to work on their performance skills because there's more time for rehearsals. If they had a schedule like 1D, I doubt they would have had any time to grow as performers and do new arrangements that they always give for the fans.

I still think "Salute" would've made a great lead single in the U.S. and Sport Relief single in the UK. One can only imagine an awards show performance...

"Secret Love Song" is #1 on Philippines Spotify with 146,009 plays so that must stand for something in the streaming age!

I'm still pissed Jason Derulo is even on this, considering they abandoned it's stateside release - which is all he was good for. He ruined the video and does not match up to the girls vocally. "Secret Love Song" should've been their breakout hit worldwide. Their team done the bare minimum and didn't push it on their Oceania leg of the tour, despite it being close to peaking there. The frustration.

I would've actually had 'Salute' as the Sports Relief to coincide with its release in America as the first single (in my mind). 'Nothing Feels Like You' would've been the perfect summer single and would've surely went Silver with a BGT slot?

I would actually prefer if they could feature on a track a la Ella Henderson to keep their name out there for the summer. There's no single-worthy songs left on the album in my opinion!

I think 'Secret Love Song, Pt. II' would be a wise choice a la 'Empire State of Mind' & 'Read All About It'. But since it's not a choice, I think 'I Love You' would make a great final single. However, it seems to be the most forgotten song on the album :( (unrightfully so, it's the best album track bar the singles!!)

'Stitches' gets the gong for most basic, vanilla song in the past year. Don't get me started on the music video... :rofl: Also, yass at 'Secret Love Song' getting Top 10. Claim the Top 5 next week ladies!

'I Love You' is best song on the album bar the singles. One of my favourites from them. Should've been Top 5 :(.

'Spice' actually got nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 1997, so I wouldn't exactly say it was panned by critics. I do, however, agree that it's one of the best pop albums of all time!
