Weren't the two previous winners performing in the first half too? I don't get why everyone is making such a big deal. Surely, the most important thing is to perform in the middle of the running order, not too early or not too late? A 11th or 13th place in the first half is far more helpful than a place of last performer of the night for example.

This is a bit risky since as a result, other countries and juries might show less support to the favourite in order to maximise the chances of their own country.

To be honest I found Russia's performance very cliché and cheap last night. It doesn't sound like a modern winner compared to the previous years, so I have faith in the Eurovision gods to prevent him from winning. It wouldn't give a great image of the contest. He really is a poor man's Mans. On the ohter thand, I was quite impressed by Hungary last night, I didn't rate the song at all at first but it translated very well on stage (besides the drum boy) and I can see him being a surprise hit. I bet Austria and Hungary are going to be shock contenders for the top 5. On iTunes Sweden, Zoë is #14 ahead of Sergey (#20), Dami Im (#32) and Amir (#35). On iTunes Belgium, Sergey #59, Zoë is #81 and Amir is #86.
