Praying to Santa it’s Mariah’s week!

So frustrating to have mariah number 2. At least be 3rd and lose it. Her streams for yesterday were much higher than Ariana so hopefully next week otherwise I give up caring.

I actually prefer when a number one reflects what song is the most (streamed, bought, downloaded etc) regardless of age

Depends if any of it goes online, a performance on YouTube etc

Not sure how much of an effect Mariahs Xmas special will have? I think it’s in apples streaming service? It’s out on Friday.

Just let it happen, it’s still a reflection of what people are listening to. Who cares if it’s the same songs every year? Artists should make a new hit for the charts

Mariahs streams are practically double Arianas so far this week, tomorrow should see big numbers too so it’s just weds and thurs she might slip. Could be number one this week!

Do Little Mix even care about not going to number 1? Sure it could have happened but it’s not like they would set some kind of record. It would just be a second number one album for them. Great sales for both!

Sorry - I know they were probably posted in the last forum but does anyone have LM and Kylies previous album sales?

Probably the first Kylie album I’ve listened to all the way through and it’s perfect. So many bops. I prefer little mix as artists but kylies album is better in my opinion.

My worry for Kylie is that none of her singles have landed. Her last era had a top 40 at least. I guess her sales will be mainly longtime fans only. This little mix campaign has been a little bit all over the place and none of their singles have been stand outs in their career except sweet melody. I’ll give both albums a play today and May the best album...win

I mean is 30k THAT bad for Ariana? Sweetener manager 44k with a lot more promotion and a hit song (I know positions has gone to number 1 but NTLTC was around longer is what I’m saying). I’m also aware thank u, next had 65k (and 3 numbers 1 helped!) but this album was released without hype, it’s a different sound to her more pop albums and is doing just fine. She’s hardly a big album seller anyway and it’s doing better than my everything which also had a number one single to boast. Disclaimer: I’m a fan and have heard the album
