Pagasa returning! POP PERFECTION PLEASEEEE

oh goodness there has been a lot of complaints this edition… Meh, feel like I should have just kept it in the scrap heap. If people are feeling very vocal about it, then it would have been nice to have some of you offer to host instead of me going on a PM mission for months and months. Next edition rules and voting system will be revised. I’ll do some work on it in the summer months when I have more time. ☺️

Did they ever break up though? They reunite constantly.

This contest is all about discovering the best pop music. For those who don’t know, we are nowhere near as harsh with vetoes as other contests on the site. Wardy, you have nothing to apologise for. ☺️

There are no rules regarding bjsc entries. So it is still eligible for this. :)

Wow that was quite the night! We were watching along and scoring too. Our winner was Spain who got a full house of 12 points. :lol: I think the Czech Republic were robbed of a top 20 placement. They had amazing staging. Germany didn’t deserve last this year. France and Italy were a mess and Moldova… Buzzing for the UK! Not a fan of those semi results. As if North Macedonia came 11th in their semi with that horrendous song…

Mess. Would they not just be better sending the taped performance which they have already filmed then? I mean, I am not that fussed as the revamp ruined any likability the song had so meh.

I think sticking to the 3 contests a year is what I want to continue to do. I did ask the host who has had 6 months to open the contest if they are still interested but gained no reply. I will happily let anyone who volunteers to host the next edition open it. 😊 Glad to see interest is still there!

:hi: Hello Pop Forum, it has been a while! The Pop Forum Song Contest has been on my mind lately and I think its time to do the dreaded 'should we continue' thread. As the majority of you know, I stepped away from my role as Pop Mod after moderating the forum for the best part of 6 years (I think). Management have been kind enough to let me keep my expanded inbox and a few moderator powers across the site so that I can bring you events such as the much loved Pop Forum Song Contest. Although popular, the contest has taken a bit of a tumble over the last few editions. Finding hosts for the contest is proving difficult and in all honesty, I feel that I am a bit lost with it all. As the winner of the last edition, I find it very hard to host events on Buzzjack now given work commitments. I hoped to host PFSC last October and even went through a few hosts to try and get it up and running. Some replied with their apologies, others completely ignored my multiple messages and then we had a host who was meant to open the contest but never did. I am at that stage where I wonder if there is any point putting the effort in when the interest has dwindled? Please let me know your thoughts and any ideas for the questions at the top of this post. I would love to maybe have a list of posters who would be keen to post. This would mean that I had a go to list of people for the contest. Thanks for reading! Cameron :michelle:
