leona doing far better than expected still think she should have performed last week but with sales likely to be low Leona could get top 5

Given 1D are looking at a minimum of 120,000 this week perhaps more on 360,000 for 2 weeks with at least 2 perhaps 3 weeks left now looking like they could challenge Emeli for No.1 does anyone know if the last week is the one ending the 29th Dec or 4th Jan

Apart from il divo none of the new releases doing that well. Rebecca being beaten by Olly! and Leona, Richard/Adam are not doing well either and Britney (I am a fan) is doing terribly with xmas sales she may even drop out of the top 40

The sales are pretty good for sun-weds, 1D still looking like 120-140 perhaps more with the weekend

Rebecca was pretty average and bland. James was really really good could go top5/10. Luke's performance of run was incredible this could easily go top 40 again simply amazing performance

Susan boyle must have had really good weekend sales to finish 9 after plummeting 7-11 in the midweeks

6 not bad for mcfly given they have been together 10 years and their original fans are all grown up

pretty suprised by lily allen hard out here it has been doing very badly considering she has a big fanbase, is a big artist and her comeback has been anticipated for some time looking like only 2 weeks top 40

really good for 1D and gary. 1D with weekend could get to 220-240 and Gary over 100 both must be pleased. Celine + Little Mix holding up fairly well in the albums. Disappointing for Susan Boyle may not even stay top 15

i'm really not sure Emeli is unlikely to go much above 700,000 whereas the best selling albums xmas week and the week after with itunes albums can do 200-300 a week

So 1D looking to sell at least 200,000 this week and with xmas sales kicking in could they beat Emeli to the best selling album of the year or will someone else get it

115K is more than I thought although it will be very front loaded xmas cd saturdays sales have kicked in so 200-250,000 seems like it could happen. Gary very similar sales to Robbie should finish around the same mark

Lily is probably a few thousand ahead of Gary but does he have a physical release and is he doing any signings?

Just as Gary overtakes Lily 1D get number 1 but even if they were chart eligible they have had a days less of sales and story of my life plummeted by the weekend

going to be very close this week but Lily will edge it at the moment Lily and Gary are about equal with her additional version and his EP but he will fall off and she will get weekend advert boost. Expecting Ellie to be out of the itunes top 5 by Friday

Looks like Gary could get to number 4 before his X factor performance and JLS maybe top 10 just before strictly

So the new album is out today in Ireland and Monday in the UK. How do people think it will do chart position wise and sales by the end of the year. Any other comments? Review have been excellent with DigitalSpy comparing it to Destiny's Child Writin's on the Wall, Sugarscape gave it 9.10

really good single and album sales, shame Little Mix have no chance of making top 2 as eminem ahead on itunes and storm queen has a very big lead. I will be shocked if the top 7 albums are all new entries come sunday though

1D were in the singles chart and completely new and unpublicized release, James Arthur is in the albums so such a drop would be unexpected if he is that far in front of course we don't know the numbers but thousands suggests a healthy lead
