  1. I have not expected different, but i am sure he will do good with the album and he will sell well for thr tour. As far as I saw in the official charts even Niall Horan only made it to the top 100 on place 100 and he is from 1D. Can someone explain to me how this streaming counting works? Do they have to pay for streaming? I have no idea :-) Apart of that I am and the fact that I am not that a huge fan of PLAR I like the marketing strategy of Sony.
  2. Ayda posts pictures on her Instagram account from the bach. Is that California? a beach holiday somewhere else with the kids?
  3. He has achieved what he wanted. For all those who do not follow him that close;y as the fans he had not done two huge tours but was away especially in Britain. This song made people speak about him no matter if good or bad and Russia is a perspective rour destination too. The next song he will publish - and that is the reason he publishes it so fast after PLAR in my opinion - will be the important pleaser for anyone.
  4. Well I understand that everyone has his/her point of view. But some of the remarks are a bit mean some of you do. I like TT 4 and love TT 5. I am not a fan of Gary no matter how much Robbie likes him. He is not honest. He had painted the truth wrong (you can also say he lied) so often, if it was in hindsight of tours ( in Australia), who joins and so on. And as much as I love Billy Joel, love Ella, I cannot see him anywhere in that league. Have you ever seen Billy Joel performing? Then you know what I mean. And well, I also critisize and not in teh friendliest way sometime when some of you get overexcited and twist truths either. But at least dp I ger my facts right. Robbie owns 160 million pounds and is no 16 on the Sunday Time Musician rich list. Gary is around place 38 with about 60 million. Sorry. And Rob's fortune does not include the profits from his solo tour 2015 in front of 1.2 million in Europe, Abu Dhabi and Australia. Read the critics and their opinion thorugh years about him as performer....Party like a Russian by teh way is no 4 in Russia by now and had almost 8 million clicks in 24 hours. I think that it is quite impressive despite I still perosnally do not like the song. And I can say that. I do not need to haol anythig and that is what some - not all - of you do. :-)

  6. Well, the video was published this morning and has already more than 4 million views. The song might not do well at itunes, but he tries something unusual, while normally artists stick to what they always do. By the way, Gary had tweeted him his congrats too. Rob has a stadium tour lined up for Europe. Australia and likely South America again, which says it all. Obviously he has not the voice Gary has, which is indeed great, but...he has personality and is not one moment dull and boring. He never was, which is a reason to be succesful as solo star. I guess he will seel 2.5 million plus with the album and that is an achievment like the 77 million he sold already (aside of the ones with TT). No one can dismiss this.
  7. Interesting say, milly as always when it comes to Robbie. Regarding the awful Apple concert even the broadsheets like the Guardian and the Telegraph who are always a bit snobbish gave him 5 stars out of 5. But what do they know? However, they pointed out too, that Robbie does not use autotune. I am not a great fan of party like a Russian I love the video and the lyrics though. And yes, Robbie is the best selling artist from another country in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and teh Netherlands. TT have many fans in these countries either. But without him, they simply do not appeal anymore which I think is a shame. At least the Circus was a fantastic record. I think though they are liked more in the UK than him, the are more PC.
  8. he is no 1 in many pre order charts with the album across Europe at least top 5, that is more than TT without Robbie ever had achieved.
  9. can't see it being a hit either. Wonder why they had chosen it
  10. I agree. Acting woul be perfect for him. I love HES. I should not look at the charts, but cannot help :-). Is 32 good for a non-singl by an old artist? As he has reserved stadiums already in Germany and Austria for next summer I assume that he will try a stadium tour. I also pondered how 'party like a Russian' may sound and being judged in times of the political climate
  11. I would like to see the entire video to HES. Or had it only been the sequences he shot as it is not listed as a proper single? Anyway. It worked. Has one of you an idea if it charts with itunes?
  12. the old blogs are available, maybe he will write new ones again?
  13. Could you imagine that Robbie will release two songs as singles? One upbeat one like Party like a Russian with the video clip made in the castle and one ballad style with the boxing clip? Whatever he does though, the singles at least will have problems to start with streaming taking so much off the market. It will be interesting. I hope he will chart though with the album and will sell lots of tickets for the tour. Not that teh chart position matters to me, but I think it will matter to him
  14. you are right Laura, but I am so keen for the music, more than even the chats :-)
  15. I like the interview and the humour they have. I only always think that especially those who should know him in the UK are offended by statements like the national treasure one. It is clearly ironic, but reading the comments which I cannot help to do no one understands. What do you think, when do we get to see the video, hear the single or know more about the albgum? It must be imminent now, must it?
  16. I have read an article yesterday about Sia's concert in Israel and that she shall be sued because 'there was not enough banter'. The article says that normally a concert is about music and especially Sia is not known for her funny side, but that this is an example of how strong the influence of fans' demands is these days who 'form' their stars. They have an ideal and that is what they want the stars to do. I am not following others aside of occiasionally Take That and either with them as with Rob fans have very strong opinions. Either they worship anything or they critisize anything and often not even in regard of music (generalized). So it does not suprise that the 'occasional' fan wants the hits which made those whose concert they attend famous. There had been artists that have broke down about this mentally.
  17. I do not understand the sense of this...or is there nothing to understand?
  18. I think the single is out earlier, no sense otherwise to shoot the video already
  19. I wonder about these emojis. Is that PR or does he gain money with it? I know that the Kardashians seem to earn more than a million from their emojis, but Rob does not have this followship. I think the first single will be out in September
  20. This 'cake' clip steers quite a momentum and anything I read in English, German and Dutch was positive. Ayda has gained herself also a much higher reputation in the last months I have the feeling, on her own and not as wife of...
  21. I have read it and as non-native I was not sure if this was meant real or irony???
  22. Maybe it is a Candy lik song right for the summer? I also guess that it is something upbeat. I am very curious how the sound willbe and how people will perceive the new work. He had left Porto Cervo. I guess he will spend three weeks in LA now and then the promo starts.
  23. You know what is funny? When I stuffe me with Robbie knowledge after becoming a fan 2007 I read some old articles, too. In 2002 he did an interview with one of the best news magazines in the world called "der Spiegel" something like Newsweek of Germany. They closed the article up with the sentence. "And if he will continue like this he will be the comeback King like Frank Sinatra and when he will stay as good and inventive as he is, they all will be successful." Funny. I am really looking forward to this album. I don't expect it to sell well. But who is interested these days if an RW album sells well. The music is what counts for those interested and the tour for those who are no fans. I am wondring about the show, too, he will do. Is he referring to a one off? Is it a real show like x-factor or Strictly? I am very curious. Not long to wait anymore.
