  1. I wonder if he has changed the alnumin the last weeks, since the Guy Chambr tweets stopped? I have the feeling he was first doing save and he now more self consciousness and is doing experimental. Maybe he does not feel the need to please anymore? It will be an adventure though when he will step outside the Robbie Williams pattern most of his 'common' music buyer has.
  2. the ballad will be released nearer to Christmas I assume
  3. could be, Syd. But who knows? i think though that they have all planned in the smallest detail.
  4. He gets a lot of Media coverage even through the time when he was not due to bring an album out in Germany, Austria or the Netherlands and in the East Eurpean countries where he seems to be far more popular than bigger stars of the minute. The last weeks there are at least two reports - always positive - in the cdelebrity news in Germany and Holland also due to the Ayda thing on Instagram. There is an unbroken love for him in Europe sans the UK. How many albums will be sold due to this, I do not know. I think that the hugest challenge is the UK. The music market is not that 'faithful' to artists which have been huge, but have still not achieved the legen status like members of Pink Floyd. And the tecket thing is not that easy too there. I read that Rihanna did sing in front of an half empty Wembley stadium last week and she is one of the hugest artists (I think :-) )I hope he will get a no 1 album and some nice doing singles, a huge tour, but most of all I hope that the music is as good as I hope it will be. I could imagine the first single out end of August/beginning September as I read he will go to LA again, (I guess in August). the album might follow in October. TT will bring their album out due to the talent show and Christmas and as there is still a huge fanbase they share I do not think that they will challenge the wallet of them twice in the same months. I am really looking forward for his moves and somehow I think he has a lot up his sleeves. His team was always inventive.
  5. Isn't the reason not more likely that TT as a three piece simply lost the old aura and the draw they had? The last tour was still an afterglow of the old TT merits. But since then nothing what they do as a three piece is really a success, not even when everyone in here considers it as good like the Sigma collaboration, well, unless you call a chart position of number 21 a success. Times have changed, they do not appeal that much anymore as they did as a four or five peace and it is not sure when Robbie's solo album is out this year it is anything else for him.It should be enough that they are doing music we like. With the way music is now consumed it is difficult unless you are Adele
  6. this is what I am wondering about too :-) He has so many side work going on :-)
  7. and I still think they are planning some kind of Keep up with the Williams. The little spots are hilarious. I can imagine them doing what the Kardashians and Osbournes did in the USA in the UK and Europe, with more fun though
  8. what is Real Lorraine? I love Ayda and her sens of humour
  9. I would like a real collaboration as single. I think this would sound pretty good...and I like Ayda on Instagram. Maybe this will lead to something more than only entertaining the fans. SHe is very funny
  10. thanks laura this will be weekend fun :-)
  11. has anyone a link/YT to the interview with Robbie and louis before the game? Thanks
  12. Syd, you can watch ITV with , Filmon '. As soon as I see an alternative link I will post it, http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...occer-Aid.html intersting article thanks to Linz of RWAP
  13. a lot of tweets by 1D fans...when they were young, :-) it is so different to the relaxed oldies we are :-) They remember the x-factor performance with Robbie though. Great event ahead.
  14. he seemed to be suprised how good it was
  15. well the answer could be called money. If yo like Gary or not he has a career aside of TT. Howard and Mark can live with what they have earned in the past. But humans are greedy.
  16. I thout of that either the last weeks and I tink sales around a million wouldbe very good as Rob cannot reley on streams, 500,000 will be likely and 1,5 m wuld be more thn great. But BM,you now best :-)....

  19. rob has done the same with Avicii in 2014 only Avicii featuring him. suddenly every rob fan was interested in Avicii (but few vice versa)It scored number one in a dozen countries and was one of the most playes songs outside the UK 2014. It didn't score well in the UK. Sigma is the contrary, not even slightly comparable with the success of Avicii in the world, but 'big' in the UK. the featuring is modern these days. At the end it helped some old acts to a hit single. But if the other stuff is not good it is short lived, TT and rob have to produce great material for those who are the target group (like Adele) otherwise they will lose their faithful fans but do not win new ones, at least not in masses. this train is gone for both acts and TT did great to achieve a second chance once.
  20. It didn't help them after Progress. nevertheless I would prefer a TT tour without any solo spot
  21. So he is in a hotel? Maybe he is indeed in Germany like the rumours some days ago indicated?
  22. I am a TT5 and TT4 fan Milly. I am not keen on TT3, but appreciate that they take risks which is more than many others do. But... I have noticed and this is especially the case I the TT/Robbie world. that people simple close their eyes against reality. I am a huge Robbie fan (who is and always will be a member of TT just like any other member of the group). He was once one of the biggest stars in Europe, sold 1.6 million tickets in a single day in 2006. a single day!, but I also know that he need a huge album to count in the highest league, which is difficult with the changed way music is consumed these days. There are not so many who still listen to entire albums. But he sells major tours far better than TT aside of the UK where he has not toured since some years. I can see his flaws and his good sides. The TT fans on this forum does not see this with TT. if they do not sell everyone is guilty only TT isn't. This is more than a pink glass to see it. I remember gary telling the press he will tour his solo album in Europe and Australia. He didn't because it didn't sell at all. TT have not sold without Robbie outside the UK either. They sell great tours there, but nowhere else. This is a fact. But...no one knows if Robbie will sell with his album in Europe this time around. But I can realize this and love him nevertheless. And I love love love the Flood which by the way is written by Robbie in 2008 already (He speaks about writing this song in the Bio 'You know me'.)
  23. Have you ever considered that Mr McCormick who has a reputation that makes him even known here in the Netherlands as one of the best in his genre may be right?
  24. they say so Syd, but as much as I assume it is true, he had said on upfront(I read) that nothing is in dry blankets for now.
