  1. I had just a look at the Friday Chart predictions. It is still possible to sell huge amounts of albums. Adele is no surprise, but look at Coldplay and even the Corrs. I can still not understand why so many people watch the TT tour but do not buy the album re-release and to be honest they did not really buy the album if you assume that they sold 500k by now and Coldplay sells 250k a week. I expect that Robbie will not do better on his own next year - though I still hope - and the question is why they all are watched live, but the album sales are really not that great.
  2. he and his family deserve it. I am only curious and yes Christmas will be special this year with Teddy understanding more and more.
  3. I would so like to hear about the new projects aside of music Rob may do, the HBC thing, the shows...I am curious, despite I know that we will not hear something from Robbie likely till next March :-(
  4. The Dutch usually invade the German Christmas markets :-) as we are very rational here. But to be honest, I am not the Christmassy type :-(. I hate that they already sell the 'speculatius' a Christmas bakery in October. And I also like Len. he comes over like a real gentleman
  5. I love Lola, the live original version and rob's :D
  6. Can someone explain the Miley Cyrus tweet to me from two days ago? I am lost.
  7. this is wonderful Syd, you will have a great time
  8. We have to see things in perspective. Take That and Robbie are major live acts now. I don't think that they together or as single acts will compete ever again with the current hot artist. By now it is Adele, Ed Sheeran and 1d/Coldplay. But people come to see them live and they produce new music AND they don't do secure. How amazing is it that they do not take the secure way but try something which is not their usual style. Adele is great and I like her as a person as far as I have seen/listened to interviews. But her album sounds like the old one and the first critics rise. It will be a huge success, however if the next one will not be different she will go the same way every huge artist goes, back to normal. U2 did, Madonna did and different to TT and Robbie until now Adele has not proved to draw massive crowds. TT sold at least 500,000 tickets for the last tour, Robbie more than 1 million. After 20 years this is something all the others as good as they are still have to deliver.
  9. Are you sure, Laura? Stupid to say that, but in my early Robbie times I often was annoyed about those people who always criticized him for anything he did and was vocal about it and there was a laura with some numbers behind her name with a very sensitive way saying what I said much harsher and always so good mooded. I thought it was you. Embarrassing, sorry. I am sorry, then for thinking this and being wrong. Nevertheless, what I said about me loving your attitude and posts is valid wherever I read what you write.
  10. I would nevertheless imagine they could do something together one day if Adele wants to do something else than her standard way to sing and being successful
  11. I think the first of your posts I read was on Pure Robbie shortly after I became a fan, Laura. I always admired the way you analyse an see things and the calmness and serenity in your judgments always from the angle of good thinking. I also hope tat Robbie keeps it interesting. But I still hope he has commercial success.
  12. I Always think it is a different to make a negative review because the artist is not my kind of person or his/her music sin't my music. This is normal. This Simon ...was though only mean for being mean, likely expecting the reaction. But sometimes you cannot help yourself although ignorance would have been best
  13. he said it in different venues, Laura. I also think that 2017 tour will be huge and maybe he can also enhance his profile with whatever TV show he does, like the osbournes back then, maybe
  14. http://13thfloor.co.nz/robbie-williams-vec...ovember-3-2015/ this is interesting especially the last part
  15. I also winder what he means with new show and I am sure Hugh Jackman will be on the swing album this time. :-)
  16. the reviewer is definitely no fan, but I like to read even these reviews
  17. I had not downloaded the app, stupid me, Thank you, I will try for Sydney. I think you are right with the Uk, but this tour was absolutely amazing and should have given him confidence. I saw posts about new songs for a new album by Tim. Is he speaking about 2016 album or the next one? Somewhere I also saw that there is an announcement for something this week? And what did he mean when he says to Regine he will be back in France in 2016? What about the HBCarter thing and and and
  18. Why can't I see the periscope thing? When I click the link O only see a blue site with the information which browser I need to watch. I have the browser, but still it does not work. Mmh..
  19. Thank you Syd. Give them my greetings of you can and have the time. I just thought about what you said yesterday. The older I get the shorter the days seem to be. Work, household, family. But it is always nice to have a few minutes in Robbie world. The generation of the younger then 25 year old is different. They cannot live without their mobile anymore. I saw friends/couples sitting together whatsapping in the train without speaking one word with each other
  20. Has anyone heard how Susie and Jackie are doing? I miss them and their forum
  21. He was smart to end the tour with the Australian dates. He must go out of this full of pride. Hugh Jackman, Denta Goodram, Adam Lambert, Lawson, I guess we will see them all in Robbie world again at some point of time
  22. I have not been a TT fan but a Robbie fan and that only since 2006. But I remember when I heard Patience and saw the video that I liked it a lot. It was a huge success not only in the UK. I am no fan of their overproduced shows that reminded more of a musical than a concert with too many gimmicks. But this is a personal taste which I share with many of fellow not UK residents. This is the reason why the Circus didn't charted well anywhere else and the true reason they did not bring a smaller production to Europe. Progress was incredible. The Flood (sung by Rob) is one of the songs that I love most. It gives me quivers. TT had a balance as 5 piece, they even had a balance as 4 piece. But sometimes you have to decide when to stop and best on a height. I don't think that they would have sold more albums even with a strong ballad. I don't think that Robbie will seel more than them when he releases his album next year either no matter how good it is. He has a huge advantage though for these tours as 80,00 people flog in for him in Barcelona, Holland, Bucarest, Israel and now in Australia they kiss his feet. TT can only tour the UK successful. I am wondering where they want to go and how small the venues will be when they only sell the tickets badly in their second biggest market of the past like Germany. Gary is a strong song writer. But he is also a smart man. He knows that the time of the band as a 3 piece will expire and concentrates on the musicals which seem to be successful. I can see him as a new ALW. TT will be a hobby. So he left the writing to Mark and Howard who want to be current I guess. That may be the reason they are credited as writers. I don't think that the tax problem had a huge influence. who loves TT will buy the single and album anyway. How could people who are in any kind of scandal otherwise sell a lot of records (Chris Brown etc). Ot will be interesting to see how they will plan their next steps. But they will reinvent themselves, I am sure
  23. The tour went so well and the Australian part is the cream as it seems. Laura has he ever mentioned when the new album will be out in 2016 in the chats?. Some people say on FB he would tour in 2016 ..???
