  1. This tour has given all the fans what they wanted. I have spoken yesterday with people in the office about concerts. They are aged between 25 and 55 and the range of taste varies from metallica to Nirvana, Robbie, and home grown music. All of them has been to many concerts of other artists either and there were two topics everyone agreed in: Freddy was the best (interestingly also the young ones say that) and ...during all concerts people want to listen to the hits. The older and more established the act is, the more the audience wants the hits, the new stuff is nothing they care about, because of the memories they have to the old songs and so on. This is what Rob did. The hard core fans want the ne songs. But those filling stadiums and arenas want the old hits. He is a smart man. I hope that his new album will have the potential to add some classics for the general fan
  2. They are British, I looked them up on Wiki. Their album was quite successful

  4. There are some better critics and some unflattering ones. The fact is that for most people who are not really TT fans this is imply more about a cirque du solei than about them. As the sales of the album had been a disaster outside the UK no one is interested in these songs too, plus, no concert was a sell out. Hamburg and the Velodrome were nearest to it. But there were only 6500 fans in Munich and in Holland the ziggo dome was almost half empty. In Vienna they had to change venue because they sold so few tickets. This is the fact. The hype TT causes in the UK is only there between hard core fans and even in the UK the sales were far from what had been expected. When the show is getting bigger than the artist itself it always indicates a huge lack of self assurance. I don't think that the negative critics are written by Robbie fans. They only show what people think. TT will always do well with tours in the UK. GB said in Germany they will do small venues in countries they had not been before the next year, just like Robbie did (with huge venues though). He/they promised a lot and we will see what will happen. I think that TT are far better when they are pure. They do not need the huge productions. But each to his own
  5. I also guess that they filmed some adverts at the same time also for the different countries. He will not fly in for one 30 second spot to be shot. I am also wondering about VW which turns out to be a real mess. But if he had been paid for the entire year he has to stick to the contracts and the amount of money they indicated in 2014 was so huge I don't think he will miss out. As bad as the betray is, I better do not want to know what other companies do, not necessary car manufacturer. We have a freport in the Dutch television especially about food producers and retailers and sometimes you do not want to eat anymore after watching it
  6. good reviews so far in Germany where they performed in Hamburg last night in front of almost 10,000 people
  7. where was the information of the press conference coming from? And what about the info that journalists have to register for it? You never really know in Robbie world. But the x-factor performance seems to be true.
  8. I thought that too. Normally there was at least a bit of information during the last two years in between. But if the fans are posting old stuff, there is quietness in the Robbie camp. I am so curious of what to come.
  9. he had been very ill, Syd. The man is a pusher and worker and he took too much. He has 120 people steadily on his payroll, even if he is not touring. This was some years ago though. He is doing good now and he has a great family. His son is in the business as manager. Aside of him, I know many artists who have made a lot of money and lost it not even by their lifestyle, but because they invested wrongly. Robbie seems to be different and very smart ...aside of the houses
  10. I am not impressed by money either Laura. But what impresses me is the way people get the money they have if they d not inherit it. Some have clever ideas, some took chances and some have talent and get paid well. Nevertheless there are so many people who misinvest. In Holland we have Andre Rieu who is known in the rest of Europe either. He made a lot of money with his tours and concerts and lost anything some years ago. so he had to start again. In Robbie's case he is smart (until now) and that impresses me. No real big toys with him other have and spent their money for. ANd PJ? I expected him to be rich as he is dong Dragon's den. he couldnot be a rolemodel if he is not good with money :-)
  11. I know that some of the posters didn't wasn't to believe what I said about Take That and the demand in Europe. No concert is sold out. The management has not done them a favour to tour an album that did not sell at all in Europe. They have a fan base at least for touring. But what worked in the UK with three members is not enough and with no hit in addition it is even more difficult. TT without Jay and Robbie is a UK phenomena
  12. it seems that UTR will not be out this year. So all the recording was for the proper album. Or maybe he is doing a stint in TT?
  13. sure, laura, I did understand. I wanted to point out that he has 450 million and Robbie 140 million, which means they are both stuffed. If Robbies continues the way he does now and will also be good with Farrell in 10 years....
  14. laura....rob is worth 140 million :-)
  15. I agree, Laura. This Peter Jones, where is the link to Robbie? They know each other privately, do they?
  16. It seems doing much better this time around. I guess for the future there will be a niche for Farrell.
  17. Thank you, Laura. Few days to come and then Australia. I have seen on twitter yesterday that Farrell will be promoted in the USA Primark stores, nice
  18. http://www.bild.de/regional/hamburg/hambur...30586.bild.html he is in Germany for a private gig assumed in Hamburg. The article says that he is paid a million Euro for a gig. The advert shoot may be for Café Royal or VW.
  19. I agree, Laura. But it is rather interesting how both acts develop still in years they are dinosaurs. Gary had done a lot of networking in the USA and maybe this gives them a chance as TT for an adult audience. Robbie had confirmed himself as one of the biggest live acts even in countries he had not been before during the last months and is planning new roots, whatever they are. Even he though spoke about dates in the US while he never really wanted to break there as he said. And still they also coexists since they had made their peace some years ago and keep on being successful. Yesterday I watched Progress and I have to say it is still absolutely impressing me. I would like them to do something again together.
  20. Gary has tweeted that Take That are planning US dates. I think the kind of show they do would perfectly fit Las Vegas. Rob had indicated some months ago that he might also do something in the US. I am wondering if this is still something he has in mind and if, if it will be with TT or alone. I guess though, if he will do it, he will be on his own
  21. I like the calendar and I like how much happier Rob looks these days
  22. What a great tour this has become. Waiting for more revelations of what he plans next aside of vacation, family and Australia
  23. my computer crashed last Saturday and I don't remember my password of here so I could not use smartphone or notebook. I m back and like you I think that Ayda will be pregnant soon if she not already is. This could be the reason that the album is delayed to winter 2016 rather than the secret project
