I am wondering what Rob's plans are anyway for the next months. The Christmas album seems to be a given. UTR4? Will he be able to do something with theTV shows he had planned. There was also something indicated in the Andy Goldstein talks which would have occupied him several weeks and nothing popped up. We all do not know if there will ever be tours again in the next years (which make the money). How will he compensate?

Thanks for the Figo update. There were some nice articles about Rob in Swiss papers how the family wandered in Swiss Alps, had a coffee and milk and no one bothered them and they were friendly. It seems that only Charly and teddy had been with them. I guess he will go back to the UK now and stay there. Despite the weather who wants to be in the USA in the moment? They have a privileged life, but at one point this is also very limited. I have long not seen any social pictures with their friends like the Minkoffs (I think that is the name). I also wonder what Gwen is doing alone which I can think as only reason for Ayda and Rob to return

I am still watching Knebworth. I became a Robbie fan when I saw the Leeds concert on TV, Then Berlin (after lees despite it was before Leeds). An then I bought the Knebworth DVD and watched it with my mum and we were both like, 'what is that'? What is feel sorry about - and I cannot help - that for many people who know Robbie Williams outside of his fan circle think of him not even as a minstream popstar these days but forgot the great hits and reduce him to Angels and karaoke. Many fans have left, despite his concerts still have a reputation. And the younger people do not even know him. I have the feeling that his 'competition' at that time, Justin Timberlake has maintained his fame far more than Rob. The British boybands do not sell in Europe (TT last tours without Robbie did sell in few countries) and the solo stars like Ronan keating is known best from his Notting Hill hit but they do not score. Neither does Rob who though still feels stadiums fortunately. We all know that fame never stays permanent. But for me his fall from Grace from such a high top through the last years was huge. And I feel sad about that.

He will do fine. People need new music. I do not expect Gary to be experimental like TT or Robbie, so his fans, TT fans and also the casual listener will buy the album.

I read somewhere yesterday how difficult it would be for Rob to do his usual shows in #metoo times and in political correct language time. Even if the fans would still love it the newspapers would be on it. You have to be boing these days and what the mainstream considers 'normal'. Soetimes I really fear that the Robbie days are over

that is the fun, we all only guess, but it is interesting to have such a colourful popstar to be fan of. However, sometimes I could slap him :-) and wished he would be a bit More Gary in what he does. Rob is also determined. But he is bored so fast :-)

This weekend they had a long reportage about boy bands in german TV and started with the coedian Harmonists. obviously TT and especially Robbie were a great deal. it is Germany. Do you remember the Bay City Rollers? Are they still alive?

I don't think TT will need a promo for the residency if it will happen. It will be mostly brits and europeans who will be there. But it is a nice push as Carpool karaoke is famous all over the world now and not only watched by Americans like maybe the rest of the show. I think that the career moves of TT are far more determined and structured than Rob's. Gary said in an interview that he workd 10 years for something and is successful and Rob simply drops in and gets the crowd. But that is not enough anymore with 42. There are more flaws, the fans are less responsice and more critical. He did a lot of promo this time around but many choices were doubtful also for teh interviews. One carpool would have outweighed many of them. I have also the feeling that the more he feels under pressure the more pain he has. I am hardly an expert of depression, but I cannot believe that you cannot medicate it. Plus, as a warrior in many things myself, I understand him in this. Nevertheless, it is not that he has to worry like average Joe Public for his well leving. Sometimes Rob is a real miracle for me. I hope he will join TT and then do a lowkey album like UTR. Then he is at his best

I guess it will be a mixture. I agree, Laura but...he is at a point of his career where he is not the big thing anymore. His albums may reach number one with an enormous pr activity still, but he has to work his butt off which leaves him in the mood he seems to have now. On the other hand he has a lifestyle to feed. A Christmas album will sell like the original swing album, I guess but only when it is a mix woth old songs either. People want to sing along. It is teh same like the songs fans and random audience waant to hear on tour. It is a difficult Robbie phase in the moment especially for someone driven by competititive thoughts and used to success. I wonder how he feels that TT is invited by JC to car pool karaoke. Fine for them, but I am a bit sad for Robbie as at least the media make believe he wanted it so badly

If I have understood some bits others refer to from the upfront chat the next is a Christmas album? I guess that will be huge.
