Like I said once, fans should stop worrying about singles charting, I really feel the boys don't care. They know things have changed a lot so a 20 year old act like them not having huge singles is really not a big deal. The albums and tours are what matters to them.

I think they are doing this because many artists do that nowadays. Like myxxd said, it really feels like they are testing the waters after being away for 7 years.

Well to each their own, I really like this single, I find it better than HML.

I have a feeling that if Dynamite was released as 1st single instead, it would have had similar success as HML. But this is their 3rd single with 0 official promo and the video is not out yet. I hoped Croke Park gigs would make an impact but I guess WL fans are still used on buying the singles and they haven’t done that this time.

Can you show me where you found this? Because I am looking at the Box Mojo and I don't see Westlife anywhere so maybe I am not looking at the right section.

Ireland has a much smaller market than UK so that is why this is happening there.

Where are you getting this conclusion? Its only the first day and the Mids aren't revealed on 1st day. You should just enjoy the song, you worry too much about the charting ;)

Having single performed in front of 160 000 people + all the people in the cinema is also a pretty great promo. Plus, Better Man had only 1 live performance so its not a big deal. To my understanding, the video wasn't completely done and Mark said that is why it needs more shooting on Saturday. That doesn't necessarily mean it is scrapped for live concert performace type of video. This isn't a sex song though, its more about being in love and feeling like being on the top of the world. And none of the WL fans are that conservative that they will mind Nicky singing about kissing in the back of the car. Heck, Hit You With the Real Thing is more about sex and fans LOVE that song. :lol:

Why are journalists so lazy is beyond me. It makes me sad as I majored in journalism. If he just glanced at the set list he would have known they start they start their tour with Hello My Love. This might be a good idea actually, that way more WL fans will maybe get more used to streaming because that is the key nowadays. If they will do the bigger gigs next year they will need to spice things up at their concert, not just the light show.

Like I said, I really like it and I think its more catchy than HML. Its nice they are having vocals rearranged between the 4 of them, I wouldn't be surprised if this is possible now more because Simon is out the picture. That rarely happened in albums let alone singles and now they released 3 singles already where Nicky and Kian have parts in the songs.

It would be a good idea if they sang a new single duting Croke Park gigs. I am not sure how well the single is going to go, whether they have some promo lined up.

I listened to the single, its an upbeat, kind of like like Hello My Love part 2, I really like the chorus. I think Kian is in the chorus the first time actually and Nicky is definitely in the 2nd verse. I like this more than HML and especially Better Man. I think the chorus really fits Kian's ability so hopefully he won't struggle live. And I agree, the melody does reminds a bit of Without You by Guetta and Usher.

They shot the music video so I guess it is coming on Friday as well.

Its great to see them co-writing songs, hopefully a few end up on the album.

I always felt Nicky is more inconsistent than Kian, I always thought he is better than Nicky.

I don't get why they rearranged the vocals like this if he and Nicky aren't comfortable singing it live. Now this just makes you if they are miming through the whole concert.

Its sad people go this far, especially since it is so juvenile. However, I am surprised this hasn't happened sooner to be honest, since Westlife always has a mixed reaction with people really loving them or REALLY hating them. Hopefully the artist of the mural can help fix this.

Yeah I just noticed they pushed it back to November. No surprise I agree but it is weird they haven’t mentioned that on Twitter.

I wasn’t agressive in any way and I am calm. I am sure the show is great but the way it was hyped its not crazy that I expected something different. But like I said, they can keep doing what they have been doing for years, there is nothing wrong with that. Uptown Girl I don’t mind but I wouldn’t mind if they cut Home and like I said, Mandy. Its a shame they probably won’t ever perform Bop Bop Baby, they haven’t done it since Brian left.
