Thats highly posssible, I agree. Plus, maybe they are keeping the big promo for the album. Plus, I doubt that appearing on Lorraine for example would help that much, Norton was the best show they could appear on. Also, I agree it sucks that they released the single on Thursday but I doubt it really was 7K like that site predicted, more like 3K. Of course even that would help but it is what it is. Stop worrying and just enjoy the song ;)

Honestly, I am not surprised one bit, this is actually fine, even excellent as Joe says. Seriously people, Westlife will probably never ever have a no. 1 single in the UK. The charts have changed so much since they disbanded, streaming is the key and we all know Westlife fans are traditional so of course that is simply not enough. If they had a few more prominent TV appearances like Norton show, maybe things would have been a little different but like this, with only few radio shows in between and no spot on Radio 1 playlist, this is expected. I just hope they manage to stay in the Top 10 by Friday.

I hear a lot of comments like that but honestly, the only obvious similarity to Castle on The Hill is at the end of the chorus when they go "its my angel and me". I don't find those two songs that similar aside from that part.

To be perfectly honest, Safe and especially Lighthouse weren't amazing songs so I am not suprised they weren't hits, they didn't deserve to be and I'm saying that as a HUGE fan.

They have been #1 since yesterday on Amazon UK, just so you know guys.

I feel the same, its so annoying. I actually never listen to her albums because I hate this aspect but I somehow managed to ignore it with this album because I genuinely love the songs. But my God, I don’t understand 80% of what she is saying. :lol:

Its a great album. I love his duets on La Vie En Rose and Help Me Make It Through The Night. The melody of My Funny Valentine is amazing, it sounds big and epic. Forever Now is so sweet and touching. Basically, its a very nice concept album considering the theme is love. I'm so happy to find out today he is coming to Croatia on September 16th, hopefully it doesn't get cancelled like it happened with To Be Loved tour.

I wonder if they will spice up their concerts, will they try to make it bigger. They said Take That comeback is their inspiration and they certainly put a lot of effort in their shows. I love their Medley sections, they have to keep that :D

That late for an UK TV performance, hm... I wasn't expecting that. So I guess they don't care that much about charting. I love Graham show, its great they will do that.

The X Factor is done in 3 weeks time I think so I wonder if the boys will release a single by then and perform it on the finale.

So true! I LOVE Poet's Heart for example. But even in albums. For example, imagine if they released When I'm With You, its a midtempo pop/RnB song. Or any other song from Where We Are for that matter, its a crime only What About Now, the ONLY cover on the album, got the single release. How about Closer instead of dated Safe? The boys wanted to release it but Simon said no.

Its so stupid when fans complain about things like that, they should be happy the tour is expanding.

I bet that song Forever Now he can't perform is about his son. He also announced a tour across US and Canada while more dates around the world will be announced soon.

I didn’t know Rihanna didn’t sell Wembley stadium but yeah, thats a good example. There is nothing worse for an artist not to sell a gig. Its best not to jump the gun. I always felt that musical about them is something Westlife aren’t keen on doing though. A concert documentary or something like that would be nice though.

Its different though in 2001 or 2008 when they even first tried Croke. I agree they could have had stadium tour in the early days but boybands just didn’t do that these days, I think Teke That are the first who did and that was also after their comeback.
