I think Brian has a good voice but Keith, he is tragic. I think he is just jealous Westlife had a bigger success that Boyzone. I mean, not many can say they sold out 6 Croke Park gigs and Boyzone didn’t even have 1 concert there. Anyway, that last interview they gave, the radio host asked them would they consider a 3rd night at Croke for Twenty tour and they said they haven’t thought about it and they were humble saying they are not sure if they could sell it. I am not sure either to be honest.

http://goss.ie/featured/keith-duffy-makes-...-dignity-156009 Maybe its not about WL but Keith should really shut up. I mean, they did get back together so how is that not a reunion? And please, like he knows for sure they won’t come back again.

I haven't heard that latest radio interview from a few days ago but I saw someone on Twitter posting a quote from Mark, he said he hopes they can release the new single before Christmas. So who knows, the single might not come out in November. To be fair, they never said it will nor did they even mention the single release date in any of the interviews - the media are the one who kept saying the single will come in a few weeks time which led us to believe its sometime in November.

I meant to say that for years it has been reported that they sold 46 million which I believe could be correct BUT I can't see the number increasing that much - that the boys sold, say, 4-5 million copies with the last 3 releases considering Where We Are, Gravity and new Greatest Hits haven't even been big sellers in the UK. Sorry I wasn't more clear.

I always wondered about that myself but I never found proper information. All I can say is that I think the media are exaggarating in the last few years when they write that WL sold more than 50 million records - even the boys said this is wrong. That 46 million mark sounds more believable - in fact, I remember Walsh and Cowell giving a special plaque for that to the boys while they were on The X Factor once. I see that Wiki has some stats that are more detailed but I how accurate it is, I'm not sure. I mean, just looking at the 1st album sales, it states the album sold around 670 000 copies by December 1999 so obviously the number isn't up to date as we know it reached up to 1.5 million in the end. I always thought that Coast To Coast having 8 million copies sold worldwide is a bit too much but who knows, they were huge at that time so it might be true.

Well, to each their own. Obviously plenty of people love him or else he wouldn't be so successful. I have seen him live 4 years ago and his concerts are great, he is anything but boring. Michael Buble is good at what he does except, like Celine, he isn't everyone's cup of tea. And its actually funny that casual fans talk about his covers (as in, I doubt casual fans listen to his albums) considering he actually rarely ever releases them as singles, his main singles, the ones that can be heard on radio, are all original he often actually co-writes - Home, Everything, Lost, Haven't Met You Yet, Close Your Eyes, Hollywood, Its A Beautiful Day, After All, Nobody But Me, Believe in You and now Love You Anymore.

Yeah, I'm always impressed by the impact of certain things that aren't official. This lyric video of I'll See You Again has 34 million views with people commenting below to this day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7IbQyG9PL4...eature=youtu.be

Chartwise I agree, their last album didn't leave much of an impact, they had only 1 single that was mediocre at best. However, touring was very successful. I mean, they sold out 2 Croke Park gigs. Ending it all singing in front of 187 000 people. Not only that, The 23 June 2012 date broke the stadium record for selling out its tickets for 4 minutes and it was apparently (according to Pollstar) the 11th largest attendance at an outdoor stadium worldwide. If this doesn't look like ending on a high, then I don't know.

Westlife always had a very devoted fan base so I expected this. And no matter what people thought of them, they had a huge success.

Nice gesture from Nicky: https://twitter.com/NickyByrne/status/1056226001523486720 https://umagazine.ie/louis-walsh-westlife-reunion Yikes, Walsh can be so cruel sometimes, the shade on Boyzone

https://metro.co.uk/2018/10/26/westlife-to-...27/?ito=twitter This doesn't sound like something they have been saying but then again, I guess it can be modern with a signature sound. I won't judge until I hear it.

Me too. I am really hoping they will announce more concerts outside UK in the future, Kian seems eager for that to happen. The boys are so excited: https://twitter.com/ShaneFilan/status/1055387799459893248 https://twitter.com/NickyByrne/status/1055369986666086400

https://twitter.com/NickyByrne/status/1055063038414479360 I get that they already have 2 DVDs filmed at Croke Park, but I think its fitting they do yet another one there as its their final combeback gig  IF there will be a DVD of course. I really hope it will be since this is the only way I can see them live.

Thats what I meant, sorry if I wasn't clear :D I just meant that artists often like to say how they are wrongly quoted, that they took it out of context - well, when you have Twitter, you can't say that anymore. The fact that they often delete tweets (like Brian did), probably means they know they are wrong or they regret it but there is no way someone won't notice and capture it before its deleted

I'm glad they talked about Brian, to set the record straight. Its ridiculous the media reported that Simon wanted Brian back, if its really untrue. Its great there is no bad blood, although I still stand by what I said, what Brian ranted on Twitter couple of months ago was nasty and he can't blame the media for it, he wrote this as he wanted on his Twitter.

And to think the boys worried if the tour will sell out :D But that just means they are humble and not full of themselves which is something I always respected about them.
