  1. I think it fits the Eurovision really well - harmless modern pop song. I also think Nicky proved he can actually sing - his voice isn't wow but it is good. And if Jedward who have worse vocals than him could do it, then so can Nicky. He is a very humble and likable guy so I'm sure he will charm the press while promoting this with ease. Not to mention being a Westlife member will also be a advantage, even the fact that he presented Irish votes at Eurovision for the past 3 years.
  2. I love the song, it is very catchy. If anyone is interested, you can listen to it here: http://www.xclusivejams.me/2015/11/michael...ave-itunes-cdq/
  3. At this point I am clueless because some sites mention 30th and some 4th so who knows.. we will see.

  5. Are you sure the release date is on Monday? I've seen a few sites where it is mentioned it will be out next Friday (4th December).

I actually doubt that, it doesn't look like it is an instrumental, judging from Bono's comment recently: !I had just heard a song called Ellis Island from The Corrs' new album. They just played it for me. It is a really, really special song."
  8. The lead single Love Is A Drug: The 2nd single Butterfly (impact date this Friday) You can listen to FULL album here: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a67...~pqUgHJsxnldrdb

I can't wait for this album, I am a fan of them since the very beginning. I think they sang Cracked and Rose Gold in the recording studio on their documentary - both songs sound great. Also, interesting covers on the deluxe version - they already premiered Cheerleader, I am looking forward on hearing Where Are U Now and Lean On.
  11. Yes, I can't see it either. Though I can understand why he had Australia only releases - he lived there and he didn't promo or release his music elsewhere, not just UK/Ireland. His debut flopped in the UK so I guess he thought there is no point until dust settles, until Kerry's negativity that was in the press every day stops. However, he did release Irish Connection album in the UK. But I'm glad he is still making music regardless of the chart success.
  12. Brian Mcfadden released lead single Call On Me Brother from his upcoming fifth album. You can listen to it here: http://www.josepvinaixa.com/blog/brian-mcf...-on-me-brother/ Its quite catchy and I'm glad he is back to his older sound, the pop/rock route. But I think it won't get him anywhere sadly, I think at this point whatever he releases, no matter how great, it will flop because he has so much negativity around him - he ruined his career with private issues.
  13. Here is the tracklisting: 1 Love Is a Drug 2 Wash the Pain Away 3 Butterfly 4 Cut You Out 5 Sanctuary 6 Back to Yours 7 Sirens 8 Simple Love 9 Only You 10 Love Me, Or Leave Me Alone 11 Casablanca 12 The Fall (Bonus Track) 13 Find My Way (Bonus Track) 14 Tempest Love (Bonus Track) 15 Fire (Bonus Track) And here is behind the scenes - making of the album: https://youtu.be/Le4Am_FBbt4
  14. I wouldn't call Shane's album dreary at all, it is overall very optimistic despite horrible situation he was in and whats more, the album had more uptempo/midtempo songs than any Westlife album - he only had 2 proper big ballads (Coming Home and In The End). But it was definitely too safe, maybe even outdated for today's music industry - Jason Mraz was very popular few years ago, this kind of music just doesn't interest people. Shane did say his new album will be a bit different but I bet it will still be very much a pop album because he loves it. In truth, I don't think the material is the most to blame - look at Mark, he has done everything right but still his debut single didn't do great. Hopefully the album will do better but I'm just saying that I think promo and the media attention are the biggest factors.
  15. Mark gave a song Find My Way from the upcoming album for free download via his official website: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAp1iJVVRJo...eature=youtu.be
  16. I agree, even just a little promo would do wonders. However, I don't think it has anything to do with interest, I guess it is just a lot harder to get anything when he is self-releasing everything... BUT, Shane's situation wasn't any better either when it comes to promo either - the only big thing was a performance on X Factor Finale, although sadly, he didn't even get a chance to sing his own song.... So I really don't know where the real problem lies. And also, I think airplay support has been pretty zero even now so I don't think it can get any worse. Until he gets the support from A list radios, nothing will change - having huge support from Radio 2 or some other B stations is almost next to nothing I'm afraid.
  17. While Kian's album is nothing special, I enjoyed the fact I could hear his voice, he definitely proved he can sing. Brian had a chance to become the most successful one but everything got destroyed thanks to his public and bitter divorce. I think if he released the best thing in the world right now, the public would still hate it, his career is doomed sadly. BUT I'm glad he is recording a new album despite everything. Interesting point from Regina, that they are better off solo... I think that shows they are all very creative individuals, if only Syco allowed them to be like that in the band. If they come back in the future, I do hope they will be smart enough to use their creativity and actually make a great original album on their own.
  18. I agree, he really should have released physical copies as well, I was surprised that he didn't give that option. Westlife fans loved physical releases, it was stupid not to have that. Shane's situation says it all...
  19. You made that perfectly clear, no point in repeating it. It is obvious you are simply a Westlife hater so you will hate everything that the Westlife members do.
  20. Oh wait, there ARE people who hate this just because he is from Westlife, I was mistaken...
  21. Yes, I was actually shocked how bad it was in Ireland, I truly don't understand - I was sure at least Westlife fans would back him up. And you are right, the song is very current - heck, if Sam Smith released it, it would have been no. 1 for sure. But sadly radio stations are such hypocrites, the song is perfect for today's music industry but because he is a Westlife member, they don't want to play it. And you know, since he is praised so much by the critics, maybe record labels will give in to his vision and back him up so he could have a great record deal in the future - maybe he won't need to self-release his next album, it would certainly made everything easier for him and would give him a better chance of succeeding.
  22. I agree it probably won't do much in the end but it does show what just little promo could do - if only Radio 1 would give a nod to this, it would have been on the top of the chart, I'm sure of it because I still haven't stumbled upon 1 bad reaction or a review. He just simply needs to catch a break... In case someone is interested, his performance can be seen here, it starts at 24:30: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AuYK7w9vOY Also, I think this is his best performance of the song yet, he didn't skip the higher notes like before, he felt comfortable enough to hit them.
  23. These artworks remind me of Sin City. I am looking forward on seeing the video, even though Bad Blood is the least favorite song from the album.

The song still sounds to me like some Westlife B side song. I still can't get used to 8 piece boyband, it just doesn't work. Like it was said before, it sounds like 2 guys and his backing singers :D AND they even couldn't have a propet screen time, that guy with a beard is shown for maybe 5 seconds. Say what you want about Walsh but even if he did sound harsh, I do think he was right in saying 8 piece boyband can't work.

I love them, the EP's are great so I'm glad they are doing a full album, some of their originals are amazing, especially Run To You and Standing By: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vFkL07nmzs
