Westlife - Wild Dreams
I don't think they have much saying on the price tickets, fans are pissed off which can only hurt them so I don't think they would want that. You'd think it would be cheaper considering the pandemic, people are right to be upset. I like My Hero, its still a very Westlife ballad, it doesn't scream Ed too much haha! They said on This Morning how Walsh pushes them to do the hits, that no one wants to hear the hew songs. Thats just ridiculous, can't he see most fans are just sick of the same old? Can't they for once skip Mandy, You Raise Me Up or Home? Since they are touring with 2 latest albums you'd think they would do 4 songs from each but you know they will pick the same hits. I hate that all of their recent tours are basically a greatest hits show. Imagine them actually having entire concert with songs from the new albums, that would be refreshing

I saw on Twitter that they had Evening With Westlife yesterday, does anybody know if/when will that be aired?

I was just wondering if the tour will sell well considering I saw people complaining on the internet how expensive some are + we are in the time of pandemic. I see now they just added a second Aviva gig. I guess its selling well otherwise they wouldn't announce a second date.

Its was a lovely performance, especially for the occasion. Loving the harmonies. They released an official version and a live rehearsal video.

I checked Spotify with New Zealand location since it is Friday there to see if they will release My Hero officially but it looks like they won't because it is not there. However, maybe they are waiting for the Pride of Britain performance to air tonight.

I remember them doing the same thing when they released Without You as a promo single. Its nice to see Shane playing the guitar with Kian

I still think that 55 million is exaggerated so I don't really think its more than that.

Nice article with Shane. He co-wrote Always With Me and it is about his parents' love story. https://m.sundayworld.com/showbiz/music/wes...t-41001532.html

Oh its great they have been so creative, that is the first time and I am so happy for them. If they have good enough songs then they really should release them eventually. I was just thinking, since they haven't had a tour in two years, I am hiping they will perform more songs from Spectrum and Wild Dreams, I am sick of Mandy and Home.

I am happy with a new album every 2 years, that way the boys won't feel the pressure like in the old days and they can actually write more themselves.

Yeah, the rumors are true. They were originally supposed to play 2 nights at Wembley right? I think its good that it is one night, I doubt people have money for two. And playing Aviva instead in Ireland is great for Irish fans.

Shane said in an interview that things will heat up now so we obviously don't know their entire plan, I am sure they will do the promo for the album.

Ah damn, he is usually no.1 so I guess boys could be #3 with Adele at the top and boys at #3 or even #4 with Adele at 1, Ed at 2, Gary at #3. I still think Top 5 spot is still a good achievement for an old act.

"Big live news coming at 11am BST tomorrow, get ready" I guess they will announce tour dates.

Westlife - Wild Dreams
If only Radio 1 would play the damn song, they probably would have had a chance even without the video

Westlife - Wild Dreams
I just think, he literally has one freaking line and it isn't hard, I'd like to think he can sing it.

Westlife - Wild Dreams
Damn, Mark really killed it with those high notes. I think they all sang live actually, Kian wasn't 100% clean like on the record.

This would be cool but its hilarious they mentioned Brian: https://www.thesun.co.uk/tv/16440660/bbc-it...estive-special/

Westlife - Wild Dreams
They posted a small clip from recording. It would be cool if they release a documentary about it because it really was an unique situation. Whatever happened to the one they mentioned 2 years ago, its a shame they probably scrapped it.

You can't do much when you have a bad rep, when Radio 1 would rather die than play Westlife, when streaming runs you over for the most part. Nicky jokes in the interviews how they are a heritage act now which is true in a way. They don't seem worried about it though so no need to stress over this. It is what it is and they are an old boyband at the end of the day.

It really sucks they are ignored which really shouldn't be the case as it is actually a good pop song. From the article, it appears they will perform My Hero soon: Ed Sheeran wrote the track My Hero, which the lads will perform at the Pride of Britain Awards later this month, after contributing to previous LP Spectrum. https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/16421...ttle-new-music/

I think she might, I mean, its been 6 years since her last album, I am sure many are dying to hear what she came up with.

What Shane said about writing with Mark: “We didn’t know if they were good because it was just us trying to write songs,” Shane said. “But the producers started saying they were really good and we started working with other writers on them. “We have never really written together before or even as a band because we had so many people writing great songs for us – we were never stuck for a hit song. “We never got to really master that craft but this time we did it with no pressure and it was lovely. “I was going through a tough time with my mum and dad, and it was a kind of release and a way to get to a happy place and do what I love. “Me and Mark just bounced off each other so well and it became a really positive thing for this album. “This album is probably the most personal one from the four of us as a band ever. It’s more personal and real and I think fans will get excited when they hear these songs because they’re coming from us.” Charis, I think there is no way that Westlife would have an opportunity to be no.1 with the single, Adele or not. No one expects them to be no.1, not when you also still have huge Ed Sheeran hit and Elton/Dua Lipa.
