  11. PS: any song that has gone permanently recurrent on any of my charts will not be able to chart anymore. I'll release a full list sometime after mid November.
  12. Yep, folks, the title of the Buzzjack post isn't fooling you. The Week of Winners has returned as version 3.0! New rules, new songs, same 50-song chart spirit, Violet Stallion style! Rule 1: Any song that has made a previous WOW Year-end shall only chart if they're guaranteed to have a higher spot on the incumbent Year-end (Year of Champions list). For example, Good Luck Babe is allowed since it only made the Top 90 last year and is expected to be as high as #77 on the current Year-end. Rule 2: Songs that have made my Bubbling Under (an exclusive on my Discord) are allowed to chart. Rule 3. No single week ties. If songs will be grouped as a double feature (that's the max), they'll remain like that for the entirety of their chart run and if they make a year end list they'll be credited together (see Twilight Zone and Hampstead from WOW 2.0). Rule 4: The songs shall follow my recurrency markers, which means they'll be kicked out in the current week if: - Below #20 with 5wk standing - Below #10 with 10wk standing or Top 5 peak - Below #5 with 15wk standing or #1 peak *Whether or not they'll be permanently or temporarily recurrent will depend entirely on me. Rule 5: Songs with hints of religion and politics will have to be examined on a case to case basis. If I see a song has enough elements to remain pop music despite the religious/political undertones (like Una Velita by Bad Bunny and Mga Praning by FrancisM) I can consider it, otherwise I'm disqualifying it outright (like What an Awesome God by Phil Wickham [gosh that one hurt, I like it]). Christmas songs may chart but those that are strictly tied to the holidays (like Last Christmas) can only chart during the month of December, whereas others that feel like that aesthetic but aren't strictly tied to that season can freely chart anytime (like Christmas Break by Gracenote). Rule 6: Feel free to comment and support your faves (maybe even leave brief thoughts on the songs you don't like), but make sure to have decency and tact while doing so. That's all. See you on the new revitalized charts! My last Monthly Mix will be out tomorrow, then WOW 3.0 will officially release on November 3. <3
  13. Glad to see dracula and gone 3x debut. So happy everybody scream and where is my husband gain. Too bad ezibisionista had to go down. Rest in peace golden, may you have a year end list spot.
  14. Glad to see miss provocative, dracula, and baby steps enter, as well as opalite and golden gain. Shame good girl, hot goblin and checkered vans fell
  15. Np although I will say I think it's on its way out because of the large drop, which is why I said it's already going 😭
  16. Sad to see everybody scream go tho
  17. Have yet to check the Annalisa album but glad to see her and Taylor get success. Of course, my favorite highlight is the Huntrix return
  18. This is actually a year end chart of mine, so all of these highlights being on the list proper is a massive event, like the biggest of big deals (or at least it'll be until my Year of Champions was released. I will say though that hauntingly beautiful isn't how I'd describe Nobody's Soldier; it feels more like gritty and cynical as a political dig against the worst aspects of the military. But yeah, all of those collabs you both mentioned were fire ❤️‍🔥 I do agree that Doechii was an amazing superstar, but truth be told I think the real winner would be The Marias. They'll have a lot of songs as honorable mention, not to mention they tie Doechii for the most entries here, albeit a lot higher. Thank you for commenting, I hope you're excited for what my 2025 Year End has to offer <3
  19. Honestly I never liked most of the remixes because the original versions were already the best versions (except for stateside, Zara's presence helped an otherwise clunky song where the original saw pinkpanthress have a sweet soft voice that clashed against the bonkers production)
  20. Sheesh a lot of good songs fell today. Glad to see parking lot and girls like you gain tho Also I just listened to written in stone and while I think it's underwhelming I definitely feel it's a better version of chasing you by Morgan Wallen sound wise, and definitely better than the previous #1 Oh and check out my top 30 carryovers list, link is in the server 👀
  21. Top 30 Best Carry Overs of 2024-2025 This is a list of songs that were released or exploded in popularity in 2024. They also a) never got a chance to chart because of both my strict 2025 chart rules and my 2024 chart hiatus from May to December, or b) were supposed to have bigger impact last year but got muted because of said hiatus and only got to briefly chart in 2025. Additionally, two entries on this list are double features containing two separate songs. They will be from The Marías and Linkin Park. That is all. Enjoy, leave a comment, root for your favorites! 🔥 30) Heavy is the Crown / The Emptiness Machine by Linkin Park 29) Defying Gravity by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande 28) Untamed by Lindsey Sterling 27) Samudera by Aisha Retno 26) Weltita by Bad Bunny and Chuwi 25) Nissan Altima by Doechii 24) Change Me by BigXThaPlug 23) Lo Que Le Paso a Hawaii by Bad Bunny 22) Denial is A River by Doechii 21) Balloon by Tyler the Creator and Doechii 20) Carita Triste by Ana Mena and Emilia 19) Messy by Lola Young 18) Lejos de Ti / Paranoia by The Marías 17) I Always Wanted a Brother by Theo Somolu et al 16) Toyo by KZ Tandingan 15) These Walls by Dua Lipa and Pierre de Maere 14) Garden Party by Madds Buckley and Mia Asano 13) Blue by Yung Kai 12) Don't Smile by Sabrina Carpenter 11) The Painter by Cody Johnson 10) Run Your Mouth by The Marías 9) Come Play by Stray Kids, Young Miko, Tom Morello 8) Boyfriend by Allmo$t 7) Apt. by Rosé and Bruno Mars 6) Sticky by Tyler the Creator, GloRilla, Sexxy Red and Lil Wayne 5) Florida by Taylor Swift and Florence and the Machine 4) High Road by Koe Wetzel and Jessie Murph 3) Una Velita by Bad Bunny 2) Nobody's Soldier by Hozier And the best song from 2024 which carried over into 2025... 1) Die With a Smile by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga
  22. Hello everyone! I have a few announcements with regards to my monthly charts. 1) Starting November, I'll be allowing my songs from my discontinued exclusive bubbling under charts to come chart on my monthly charts. These include a lot of Marías songs as well as songs like Dumelang by Vector Malome and Blaq Diamond. 2) Speaking of which, my tracking year will be ending in November because I'll start a rule where my tracking year will begin every December and end every November. This means my tracking for 2025 will end this November, and any song that charts on my December 2025 monthly charts will be considered for the 2026 year end list instead. 3) Several songs have gone recurrent in my charts, meaning they either spent 3 months there or debuted in my late May chart and stayed there an additional 3 months. Here are all of them, in chronological order: - Back to Friends by Sombr (3 months plus late May chart) - Free by Rumi and Jinu (3 months) - What It Sounds Like by Huntrix (3 months) - Golden by Huntrix (3 months) - Love Me Not by Ravyn Lenae (3 months) - Jump by Blackpink (3 months) - Daisies by Justin Bieber (3 months) - Rein Me In by Sam Fender and Olivia Dean (3 months) - Survive by Lewis Capaldi (3 months) I'll make sure to highlight more songs that will go recurrent once they reach 3 months on the chart (4 if they debuted on the late May chart). Also, every song here except Jump and Love Me Not has locked itself onto the year end list, and even then Ravyn is likely gonna be an honorable mention. 4) I'll be posting my list for the Top 30 best carryovers from 2024 to 2025 sometime this month. This is a list of songs that were released or exploded in popularity in 2024. They also a) never got a chance to chart because of both my strict 2025 chart rules and my 2024 chart hiatus from May to December, or b) were supposed to have bigger impact last year but got muted because of said hiatus and only got to briefly chart in 2025. That is all for now, I hope you are excited for what the end of 2025 has to offer <3
  23. Glad to see Olivia get #1 with her second best song (Rein Me In is her best). I'm a bit worried for everybody scream, daisies and especially golden since they fell (please make the year end list all of you) but pleased to see Raye and Jessica Baio climb up up up 🔥
  24. Yep all of them are doing well, although several of them will be going recurrent already. More on that in a later announcement. Next month: Roxy Dekker is gonna have a difficult time fighting Florence and the Machine for the #1, although part of that may be because a villain song from The Lion King of all things is gonna try for that #1 spot. Thanks for the comment ☺️
