Violet Stallion

glad you love all these. sorry for the late comment

Apologies for the lateness of the charts. A hospital visit after breath shortness and chest pains threatened my heart with a small hole in it delayed my charts schedule. Anyways, the charts are back to normal after Olivia's album bomb starts to dissipate... or at least they were until someone decided to suggest an 8 minute rock epic for a TOTC Rankdown and it shoots up directly to the #1 after debuting early last week. It makes for the most surprising hit of the year. Recurrency Markers: - Below #30: >=5 weeks or a Top 10 peak - Below #20: >=7 weeks or a Top 5 peak - Below #15: either >=10 weeks AND a Top 10 peak, or >=7 weeks AND a Top 5 peak - Below #10: >=10 weeks AND #1 peak Dropouts: When She Loved Me by Sarah McLachlan Montero (Satan's Extended Version) by Lil Nas X Temporary Recurrents: Lay All Your Love On Me by ABBA (7 Under 20) Sad Girls by Bebe Rexha and David Guetta (5 Under 30) Beat Up Chanel$ by Slayyyter (7 Under 20) The Way a Heart Breaks by Alexander Stewart (5 Under 30) Eastside Girls by MUNA (7 Under 20) Brutalist by Kim Petras (5 Under 30) Need You More by Alexander Stewart (5 Under 30) Broke Bicth* Freestyle by Slayyyter (5 Under 30) Count Your Blessings by $uicideboy$ (7 Under 20) Dancing On the Wall by MUNA (5 Under 30) The Top 50 50 Free.99 by Malcolm Todd (Steady, Peak 50, Weeks 2) 49 High Hopes 3000 by Role Model (Down 6, Peak 43, Weeks 2) 48 One Day by Bebe Rexha (Down 8, Peak 40, Weeks 2) 47 purple by Olivia Rodrigo (Down 18, Peak 19, Weeks 3) 46 less by Olivia Rodrigo (Down 21, Peak 20, Weeks 3) 45 This Side of Heaven by Elley Duhe (New, Peak 45, Weeks 1) 44 Life Goes On by Oliver Tree (Down 16, Peak 28, Weeks 3) 43 Gimme Gimme Gimme by ABBA (New, Peak 43, Weeks 1) 42 DDI DO RI by Meovv (New, Peak 42, Weeks 1) 41 Ugly and Rotten by McKenna Grace (Down 4, Peak 17, Weeks 4) 40 Dai Dai by Shakira and Burna Boy (New, Peak 40, Weeks 1) 39 Hate That I Made You Love Me by Ariana Grande (Steady, Peak 39, Weeks 4) 38 Noah by Emei (Down 8, Peak 35, Weeks 2) 37 Hurricane by Infinity Song (Down 4, Peak 33, Weeks 2) 36 U + Me = <3 by Olivia Rodrigo (Down 21, Peak 15, Weeks 3) 35 Sitting Pretty by Madds Buckley (Down 11, Peak 24, Weeks 3) 34 Too Little Too Late by Jordana Bryant (New, Peak 34, Weeks 1) 33 Need Ya by Realest Cram and Young Blood Neet (Down 1, Peak 32, Weeks 4) 32 I'm With You by Avril Lavigne (Down 11, Peak 23, Weeks 2) 31 hands hands hands by horsegiirL (Down 11, Peak 22, Weeks 2) 30 Switch by Milune (Up 1, Peak 23, Weeks 6) 29 So Easy by Olivia Dean (Re, Peak 27, Weeks 5) 28 Don't You Forget About Me by Simple Minds (New, Peak 28, Weeks 1) 27 Best Friend by Doja Cat and Saweetie (Up 15, Peak 27, Weeks 2) 26 Mo Mamba by Sheck Wes (Up 19, Peak 26, Weeks 2) 25 If You Wanna Be Adored by Eva Rose (New, Peak 25, Weeks 1) 24 Nonstop by Drake (Up 20, Peak 24, Weeks 2) 23 Execution Clap by Trap Chick and Kasane Teto (New, Peak 23, Weeks 1) 22 honeybee by Olivia Rodrigo (Down 12, Peak 10, Weeks 3) 21 Mga Kababayan by FrancisM (New, Peak 21, Weeks 1) 20 Morenito by INNA (New, Peak 20, Weeks 1) 19 Mga Praning by FrancisM (Steady, Peak 13, Weeks 4) 18 My Way by Olivia Rodrigo (Down 8, Peak 7, Weeks 3) 17 Cowboys Don't Cry by Oliver Tree (Up 1, Peak 17, Weeks 2) 16 Horses and Divorces by Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert (Up 1, Peak 16, Weeks 3) 15 Rose Colored Boy by Paramore (Down 2, Peak 1x1, Weeks 6) 14 A Bar Song Tipsy by Shaboozey (Down 2, Peak 12, Weeks 4) 13 When a Good Man Cries by CMAT (Down 4, Peak 6, Weeks 4) 12 Satisfied by Renee Elise Goldsberry (Down 5, Peak 4, Weeks 6) 11 Expectations by Olivia Rodrigo (Up 3, Peak 11, Weeks 3) 10 Lemonade by Aespa (Up 11, Peak 10, Weeks 4) 9 Chuck the Money by Stephen Sanchez (Down 3, Peak 1x1, Weeks 6) 8 The Cure by Olivia Rodrigo (Down 3, Peak 1x1, Weeks 6) 7 Maggots For Brains by Olivia Rodrigo (Down 3, Peak 4, Weeks 3) 6 What? by SB19 (Up 1, Peak 2, Weeks 7) 5 Gun Quarter Sue by KMFDM (Re, Peak 5, Weeks 7) 4 What's Wrong With Me by Olivia Rodrigo and Robert Smith (Down 2, Peak 2, Weeks 3) 3 Stupid Song by Olivia Rodrigo (Steady, Peak 3, Weeks 3) 2 Cigarette Smoke by Olivia Rodrigo (Down 1, Peak 1x1, Weeks 3) And our new #1... 1 Amethyst by Deafheaven (Up 29, Peak 1x1, Weeks 2) Next week: Teddy Swims, McKenna Grace and Cian Ducrot have minor artist bombs following the birthday of one of my friends. Also, Deafheaven and Olivia Rodrigo fight for the #1, a Romanian artist attempts to make the #1, and the calm before my own birthday chart storm is pounded by new music.

Thank one of my discord friends for the debut of I'm With You :) Hate That I Made You Love Me is a repeak, though, not a new peak just yet. I expect that to climb up the charts alongside some of those other songs you mentioned as well as that Deafhaven song hehe I did have a weird if mostly positive relationship with Oliver Tree that grew stronger with time. I do adore most of his personality, morals and artistry. Even if not all of his songs worked for me I am able to appreciate his best work. Took me a while to get to this point because I do think it was a bit of a rude move to keep riding the waves of success of the plagiarized Miss You even if that was entirely the wrongdoing of Robin Schulz, but not only do I feel bad that I only loved him after he passed even if I already liked him before, I do realize in retrospect that this Miss You debacle is most likely due to his label forcing him to. That would makes so much more sense once you realize he wanted to leave this label. He was taken far too soon, and while I don't love a lot of his discography and some of the decisions he made, I absolutely lament how much more he could have added to the things I do appreciate from him of he were still alive. Same with Tay Keith. Rest easy to them, Clive the executive, and may as well include both of the drowned student athletes and every school shooting and stabbing fatality in my country. 🙏🏼 🕊️ Expect Olivia Rodrigo to stay for a very long time. If some songs drop out, they'll return even stronger the next time. 😉 Thanks for both of your comments and hope you both are doing well

Glad to see Olivia Rodrigo so gs, dai dai and lemonade

glad to see the olivia domination. some of the other new entries are fasinating, btw, i do gotta check them out

New recurrency markers made! If a single artist or album occupies half of the top 10 at least, or there are 10 overall debuts AND re-entries in the top 30, these new markers will be enforced. Anyways, Olivia's album bomb lingers like the cigarette smoke stench on her clothes, as Oliver Tree gets love and tributes after his Rio helicopter tragedy. However, the main highlight is an 8 minute rock epic from the Talk of the Charts March Madness Rankdown makes a shocking massive leap to the top 3 of the charts after a surprise early debut. Glad to see Olivia at #1 albums :)

Hello Macie 👋🏼 the Olivia Rodrigo takeover makes me happy though I'd be remiss if I didn't highlight Sad Girls and Joy, both of which I'm happy to see. Hope you are doing well

That #1 is more of a political song tbf so I won't necessarily recommend it outside the context of February. I really wasn't a fan of Dry Spell so Horses and Divorces working so well made me incredibly happy. I could see some Olivia songs dropping due to recurrency but other than that the album is still gonna be strong next week. Thanks for both your comments :)

Yeah for independence day it just had to be that song, but olivia's likely to get cigarette smoke to #1 next week so no harm no foul for her. Lemonade was one hell of a banger so yeah couldn't resist debuting it last week and giving it one hell of a boost this week ty for the comment

Lmao 😭 But no for real that's the entire reason I called this the Olivia nuke. I'm not sure this is the most number of new or returning entries any of my new charts ever had, but it just completely takes over. Ariana is actually doing really well; her low placement is just a reflection of how much impact the Olivia album made on this chart, combined with the amount of songs that were boosted or given debuts because of Filipino independence day. She would have absolutely made the top 30 or even 20 without those entries. Pleeeaaaaase listen to expectations and cigarette smoke. The former is a popular fan favorite that I'm sure you love, the latter is my personal favorite from the album and easily her best ballad outside sour (not counting can't catch me now). Thanks for the comment and here's to hoping Ariana's track grows on me more because I genuinely wanna give it a higher placement because both of us love it

Bonus Content: Top 10 Without Olivia or Independence Day 10 Ugly and Rotten by McKenna Grace 9 Horses and Divorces by Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert 8 Hotline by Mikayla Geier 7 Lay All Your Love on Me by ABBA 6 Eastside Girls by MUNA 5 Rose Colored Boy by Paramore 4 A Bar Song Tipsy by Shaboozey 3 When a Good Man Cries by CMAT 2 Chuck the Money by Stephen Sanchez 1 Satisfied by Renee Elise Goldsberry

...Olivia's nuke. My recurrency rules and nearly half my charts are wiped by new entries, especially those from Olivia Rodrigo. However, while she occupied most of the Top 10, the one spot she failed to take was the #1. This is because the EDSA Revolution song, Virna Lisa's Magkaisa, returns for Philippine Independence Day, which also saw a lot of OPM songs return as a result. the olivia takeover makes me happy

glad to see the olivia takeover. also oh wow dai dai here :fire:

glad to see aperture, the hillary songs, the olivia songs, ariana's song, and the great divide

oh wow hi, been a while since you've been here i'll comment on your latest charts soon but yeah the cure is gonna be higher than drop dead next week. drop dead is more consistently great imo but the cure's bridge and final hook is better than every moment on drop dead sans the instrumental break. glad to see u here, thanks for the comment <3

absolutely. ty for the comment

Glad you love these songs, even if the latter two (Raye and Gaga) will not likely survive Olivia's nuke same comment but also surprised by the sad girls hype ty both for coming and don't forget to seek a fallout shelter because the OLIVIA NUKE IS COMINGGGGGGG

love the dncing on the wall, ugly and rotten and... DNA?!?!? wtf that's three years too late XXD but long overdue tbh also love the olivia songs. sorry this came out late

hello, been a long time since I commented not much to say, i love the olivia songs and be her here

wow it's been quite a while since i commented here anyways love the olivia songs, the way we touch, and heavenly here

Apologies for being late 😔 Angelica Schuyler laments about a missed opportunity at a romance with Alexander Hamilton amidst the clashing album showdowns of Raye, her sister Absolutely, and Alexander Stewart. Olivia gets the #1 even if it cannibalizes some other Olivia songs, allowing Shaboozey's 2024 hit to snag a surprise debut in the process after I sang it during karaoke during a college org's party. Also, SB19's song about raising and waving flags indirectly serves as a metaphor for queer and Pinoy pride at the same time, sending its chart success post-Spotify All-Time Update to a climactic peak. The only thing challen ging it is the EDSA song Magkaisa by Virna Lisa returning for Philippine Independence Day.

Idk man, one moment I liked Chuck the Money as a neat pivot and a respectable effort, but the next I got so hooked to it that it kinda feels like I fell in love with the song the same way Stephen fell in love with this girl. Seems to me that while the lyrics are nothing too deep the song has so much swagger and smoldering intensity in its fiery passion that it made me seriously admire the song far more than I could have ever imagined. One of the best songs of the year especially on production alone 🔥 🔥 🔥 Fun fact: the highest jumper of all time in ALL my charts was actually the late Cat Janice (famous for that Dance You Outta My Head song) with Starry Night leaping 88-8. However, that was in my expanded edition of my first chart series. Chuck the Money is definitely deserving of that record in the latest edition of the charts though... Anyways the MUNA songs could get stronger as well as the Alexander Stewart songs, and alongside Satisfied from the Hamilton soundtrack Sad Girls will definitely jump. Housekeeping may not be a song I stream or praise all that much but it definitely is a great song and while I don't really see it lasting it should be at least able to either nab an honorable mention or scrape the very bottom of my year end. Of the other two tracks you mentioned I could see dancing on the wall being the bigger success next week even if Alexander Stewart is also gonna be stronger next week. Olivia is gonna be someone to watch out for as well, alongside sisters Absolutely and Raye. Thanks for all your comments and happy pride month

In a surprise maneuver, a doo-wop pivot from Stephen Sanchez makes the biggest leap of all time to take the top spot of this chart after debuting at #39 last week! And this is amidst an Alexander Stewart album bomb, a massive increase for a Hamilton song following a music video release and a wave of new releases! However, since there's only two weeks before Olivia's third album utterly wrecks my charts, it turns out to be the calm before the storm.
