There doesn't look to be one yet, though the release is on a small indie label so they probably don't have funds to distribute/publish enough. Though videos are available - most of the songs are English editions of her singles/album tracks

http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/3838/riefuexcitepromolr9.jpg It's confirmed. Rie fu releases her first English language album on March 3rd. Amazon are now listing the release. Born in Tokyo, Rie spent part of her childhood in the US and, more recently, three years in London studying for a fine arts degree. During that time she played a lot of small dates around London (pubs and clubs). She has had 3 albums and 10 singles released in Japan. In December, Japanese music site Barks reported that an English language album would get a European release this spring. Rie fu's first European release album. It will be available in CD Only format to the UK through Pinnacle Entertainment on March 3rd 2008. It was originally intended to be released in Japan as well on March 5th, 2008 in both CD and First Press CD+DVD, but was postponed. The tracklists for the UK release will differ slightly from the Japanese version. Both Sides, Now is a cover of a Joni Mitchell song of the same name. Oh wow that's pretty cool! I always like to try and support Japanese acts that release music in Europe/US, like Yaida Hitomi and Utada. Her 'Tobira' album is really nice, so i hope it's in the same vein as this :D
  5. Runaway reminds me a lot of Bad Boy, which is fine because that song was awesome <3 Some of the covers are pretty okay as well, like 'Because The Night' and 'What Hurts The Most' - but the latter was obv xD
  6. Where I don't doubt that she isn't in a fit state right now, there's no doubt that she plays it up. Like when she made herself bald, she did it in busy place filled with windows and kept checking to see if there were cameras there. Though I doubt she's idiotic enough to ose her kids over $h!t like this
  7. I find her music to be a sea of average-ness, and I so don't get why people orgasm over her tbh *.*
  8. Haha woo! D: It's not as good as their first, but some songs are really good like 'Runaway' & 'Endless Summer' :3

Yelle is amazing! Furrealz, I loved her stuff, girl needs to get her ass up here <3 Je Veux Te Voir = awesome to play super loud when driving fast D: I thought her album was already out though? I mean i've had the mp3's and official remixes for months? x:

Oh wow, that's pretty awesome! One thing the Japanese chart lacks a lot of is real longevity, not many artists are able to have it. This week isn't there something like 36 new entries in the top 50? But at least ZARD got the daily #1, hopefully it doesn't go the same way as Soffio di Vento did in the summer and end up #2 at the end of the week. T sold the first day what most of their singles sell in the first day, hopefully it won't experience the same drop. It's a really good album, but i'll wait a while until I buy it, in a few months it'l probably be in the Spring/Summer sales, and since I want the 2CD/2DVD, I'm willing to wait and not pay £35 :P And Arctic Jim, none of her singles have sold really well, which doesn't really bode well for the album, considering there was a lot of hype around her debut. The covers leaked today as well. To say the least, they're a little bit.. err...
  13. Eugh, no nomination for Shakira for 'Despidida' :(

The album, which includes help from Salyu and JUDY & MARY comfortablly outsold it's competition. However, Kobukuro can take pride in the fact that their album passed the million sales point. It took until June last year for this to happen. UVERworld reach 100K in their first week, much to the relief of their fans. However, MISIA and Ayumi experience sharp drops. At the bottom of the top 10, BoC hold on with their latest studio release, although many expected it to have sold much more by now. The real talk of the week however is in the singles chart. Although sales are less than stellar, it marks Korean boyband Tohoshinki's first ever oricon #1, despite only being #1 for one day on the daily chart. This makes them the first Korean band to score #1 on the chart. However, they are not the first act to. That honour goes to BoA, who topped the chart in 2005 with 'DO THE MOTION.'' Nevertheless, it is still a great [and at the very least surprising] hit. Fans hope this is a good sign for the third album ''T'' this week. Acid Black Cherry have to settle for a very close runners up position. Perfume once again surprise us all with yet another hit single. It makes you wonder where the popularity surge has come from. Popular duo WaT achieve #4 after being up and down the chart all week. GReeeN, who had a huge digital/radio hit last year with 'Ai Uta' continue a popuar streak. A surprisingly low debut for Ito Yuna and Celine Dion, which doesn't bode well for Yuna's sophmore album. Finally, after the H!P infused #9 is JRock band Miyavi, with awfully low sales.

Omg I know, such a surprise! But i'm glad for them, they work really hard, hopefully it's a good sign for 'T' pretty close though eh?

Errr, mabye because it's my OPINION? In no way was what I said ignorant, just because your a GA fangirl and can't handle criticism of them doesn't mean i'm ignorant D': And I don't find any GA tracks similar to sugababes, although i'm sure you'll point some out *x*

Yeah I think THSK will be #1 on the first day, but I'm kinda expecting it plummet afterwards, just like Purple Line this week. I can't see Anytime doing well, but it'll be interesting to see how the album will do the week after. Personally I don't see it selling as well as Black Cherry but it's anyones guess tbh. 2008 is shaping up to look pretty good so far! In terms of what's on the schedule in the next few months I'm especially looking forward to new albums from Nakanomori BAND, BoA and of course Hikki. Buriguri's BEST is long overdue [plus it's great value for money - all pvs on the DVD bar their first two!] and it'll be interesting to see how Suzuki Ami Dolce turns out - personally I hope it's as club orientated as the singles suggest, I was going to purchase the CD/PB but the cover just totally put me off, so i'll probaby end up getting the CD only if I like the sound of. There are also some newcomers i'm looking forward to hearing more from - although most notable alan. A$h!ta e no Sanka.. was amazing, and I hold high hopes for her future singles. Plus she's on avex so they won't give up easily. For non scheduled releases I look forward most to albums from Ayaka, YUI and possible Gackt and Arashi [another NEWS or Goto Maki album wouldn't go a miss either :P ] Lately I've found myself getting into older Japanese music. Over the last few months I've found myself growing increasingly fonder of Misora Hibari & Seiko Matsuda especially :P

Sugababes. They actually have some good songs, wheras GA just have 4 albums of $h!t >:

Thanks! Album sales this year have been amazing, EXILE have already outsold misuchiru 'HOME' of last year. Kobukuro are doing really amazing as well! And at least for Ayu GUILTY has had a better second week then Secret. Next week should be a good week - ZARD and Tohoshinki are releasing albums - ZARD has the higher NINKI but THSK are growing popular lately, so I wouldn't be surprised if they got the #1. Although I can't decide who I'd prefer, I love them both
