Happy has really grown on me. I'd say that MMH is better, but I still like Happy; it's pretty catchy and not too in your face. I even listened to her album on the back of it and thought it quite good, especially love SCYHO

It's the first Shakira single that I haven't liked since idk when, which is a real bummer, since I find it very difficult not to love anything she does. After the magic that was "She Wolf", as well.. I managed to get past the generic-ness of it, and it's just wholly underwhelming. I hope it does well for her sake.

I'm actually quite impressed with the album :o I'm not their biggest fan, but it's a pretty solid album. Nothing amazing by any stretch of the imagination, but it's a good foundation to work on. May even buy it! :o

I wouldn't say that at all (well, maybe Louis). Simon is both looking out for his own acts, and ensuring a high amount of viewers for next week, both by keeping Jedward/causing controversy. I can imagine there's a hell of a lot more people (including people that wouldn't normally like x-factor) who would tune into a Jedward performance than a Lucy one. Did he do the right thing for the competition? no. Did he make the right decision from a business point of view? Absolutely.

Haven't they already had diva week though? :unsure: I'll be very, very surprised if anybody boycotts the show. If anything, ratings will be higher than they have been. great promo for her, I just wish it was making larger moves on its own. edit; LOL, By Queen, you mean the band right? :lol:

I'm glad Leona hasn't stormed to #1 like everybody thought it would after the performance, if anything, it's going to be somewhat of a three way struggle throughout the week

As much as I like him, I expected Jamie to go out :o shows that Simon has the strongest group, considering all three of his acts are still in. He'll have to lose one next week though, surely?

that would be SUCH a bad #12, though Louis would have had a better set of groups than he did this year! (bar Ms Frank, ofc). Simon would have the strongest groups, as he does now. Dannii/Cheryl would be the same they are now, with quite talented/pretty irrelevant

I expected something mildly interesting to have happened in the last few hours, considering it's gone from 4, to 17 pages, but it's alll insipid fan-talk. What a crappy week for music. the only "good" song out this week (imo, of course) is AAG. Happy is sub-par at best, and th less said about Ke$ha and Britney, the better.

Agreed ^ Nowhere near as instant as previous singles, but it's SUCH a good song. Shame it won't be #1

BJ didn't like Danyl again? what a surprise O___O considering he was GLORIOUS as usual! :wub: a good week this week. Best performances were between Danyl, Jamie & Joe.
