i get to do the what songs i know even though i wasn’t alive at the time thing again woo! not a lot from B List or C List sadly.

absolute used to be an alternative genre station as far as i’m aware, so we’re talking Rock/Indie, EDM and Hip-Hop here. Checking the logs for some of the songs they play on 10s this tracks, cause i can see songs like ‘Bounce’ and ‘Giant’ by Calvin Harris, ‘Blind Faith’ by Chase & Status, ‘I Feel It Coming’ by The Weeknd, ‘Read All About It’ by Professor Green, ‘Feel The Love’ by Rudimental, ‘Let The Sun Shine’ by Labrinth, ‘Not Afraid’ by eminem and ‘Starry Eyed’ by Ellie Goulding, on top of several drake tracks

oh nearly forgot to mention but i saw Bring Your Love was played the other day aswell so it does seem like they are trying to bring more back.

not 100% playlist related but i’m loving the new hot recurrent (2026) tracks they are bringing in. The one’s i noticed so far are: Chris Stassy x Tom Did It - Wide Awake Harry Styles - Aperture Olivia Dean - Baby Steps Olivia Rodrigo - the cure very nice to potentially get to hear some of these tunes again especially Wide Awake

so Fontaines is an A List debut then! also ADÉLA A List Most of the B List moves make sense, Ellie moving up even quicker this time is brilliant and love those songs by BCS and Alessi so glad to see them both ascending. C Listers are fairly boring, apart from Paris Paloma and MUNA. was hoping theyd throw Remedied on and switch out Alive for a new Jorja song. praying that both Absolutely songs make B List next week. Disgruntled and I’m Your Girl, Right? are gone wayyyy too soon, hate to see them go.

and same for Ella Langley whether shes blacklisted or not atp

GIMME THAT TOVE LO RESURGENCE

well! also GAG at them finally adding we can't be friends

shocked that they’d add BCS. Feels like the last thing they’d go for. would’ve expected to see December 10 and Gracie Abrams this week but i’ll be very pleased with this

Olivia Dean - Baby Steps dodged

yea id gun for b list, a list is a smidge too far rn, they feel about the same level of support as KATSEYE who are currently stuck to B List debuts. I would like to see the new sonny fodera and becky hill collab added too cause they would absolutely only playlist a becky collab and not anything in her era, on top of that i’d like RAYE here too for the pure shits and giggles that would be Absolutely having 3 songs on the playlist at the same time 😂

since she’s got a little bit “big”, yes. they did actually playlist some of her songs when she wasn’t as popular tho

well “I declare and I decree” that we should all be very keen about this ;)
