Hits Radio have dropped a play for Becky Hill, lets see where this goes as KISS have yet to playlist anything from this era

ykw i’ll start doing this again +5 The Cure +4 Hate That I Made You Love Me +3 Stupid Song +2 Drop Dead +1 Free Your Mind -1 Billie Jean -2 Rein Me In -3 I Knew It I Knew You -4 Choosin Texas -5 American Girls (but this song is terrible and all the others are good)

bold to assume you’d get a no.1 song 😭 try Big Top 40.

thought so

no listing of tyla larsson? or elevator boys? typical capital behaviour. quick to celebrate an ai song playlisted tho ofc

okay yall who tf is this 😭

still pressed dance no more didnt get a chance at all to be a hit :/

oh some HITS here. love Sympathy is a knife, the cure and Midnight Sun here

Elevator Boys - Love Me Better also added? is this a global artist?

first time add is there no matter what for the ai artist. i mean orbiter is doing quite well so maybe, they were extremely late to Doors to begin with.

and given how supportive R1 was for 2515, there could be a decent run for this one in store too

Zone and Evolution moving up is WILD. Love it tho! There is now a 7-9 split in songs that didnt debut in A List that are on it. Hope it goes even next week (praying for slayyyter to do it) Which leads me to… SLAYYYTER B LISTED AHHHHHHH . ofc FLO moved up thats not shocking (still should be Therapy at the Club but this’ll do), Ella moving up is tho! I didnt think she would actually get to progress. Bleachers moving up is redundant though. Still confused why they won’t move Lily and JADE up. C List debuts are the biggest mixed bag ever. Super happy for Bea and Wasia, Blossoms is a nice add, apparently the Aitch song is bad. HUGEL is whatever. not heard of Keo tho. SS26, Hanging Out To Dry and Doesn't Just Happen were all expected to go this week, but woah the others are weird. Thank f*** they pulled Drake quickly, but F3miii out is devastating. I’m still in shock that Alex Warren and Noah Kahan have both been pulled already though, it just feels wrong. Doors not getting to A List like his other two singles and Passenger being Alex’s first C List staller is so shocking.

Dean has just fallen into the same spot as Jamie and Vick. He’s so frequently off that it leaves me wondering why he still has a spot. Nat is also falling into this spot but its a newer habit of hers. Granted i’d much rather her be in weekdays anyways and there’s the added bonus of nat actually being a good presenter! As with KISS I 100% agree that Tatum needs to go, she’s too good a presenter to not even be on FM radio anymore. Rio and Talina are right there and can get carried over easily. I think a major R1 lineup change is on the way cause most weekday presenters have had these slots for like 2-3 years now iirc (Dean, RMC, M&M, VKJ; with Greg having the Breakfast slot longer as one of UK radio’s biggest names now). also forgot to mention but it looks like Danni is gonna solo the breakfast show tmrw. Although the anthems slot is listing Sam too, breakfast only lists Danni. she’s definitely top 3 r1 presenters so i’m fully behind this!

oh i forgot to check that. damn it 😭. Point still stands though don’t rely on breakfast shows as lock ins.

also: December 10 - Infinity (123) Ellie Goulding - Black Prada Dress Olivia Rodrigo - the cure all of these could be 125, alongside ‘Dai Dai’. also ‘Eurosummer - Girls Trip’ isn't a single.

was loving Lau but also loved Sam on KISS so very open to this change!

no clue 😭 i know Mellow Magic whenever they play Stay With Me lists it as by Sam Smith (not Calvin ft Sam) so idk why the others cant

one off plays in the breakfast show don’t mean anything. You have to start paying attention from 10am on for global stations

im assuming buzz artist will be revealed on monday rather than this week

biggest ragebait ever 😭 how they gonna bring it back to capital and riviera and still bait us. glad we got smth new tho

Sabrina Carpenter - Espresso Sam Fender - People Watching Shaboozey - A Bar Song Teddy Swims - The Door Tom Grennan - Higher (unsure of this one, might have been an accidental play) not Ariana and Stella showing up after 84 years 💀. Gracie insta-replace caught me so off guard cause even ‘Hit The Wall’ took a little bit of time to get onto the playlist. Opalite is also back up to Main Playlist (girl got two plays in the first 4 eligible hours of the day she is BACK). Still no Stupid Song or Earrings but HTIMYLM took a few weeks so…

given what happened with Stay (IYWD) it’s possible! Keep an eye out for Gabriela
