oh-

okay so BBC Three is being closed down (again). That’s probably why this was discarded even though i’m sure BBC Four would've taken it under it's wing.

oh Olivia Dean’s next era will be deadly, just like Sam’s new era will be.

my head STILL hurts

GK Barry’s stint at radio 1 has come to a close.

took long enough. super excited for this!

should probably watch out for this next week on the charts, late end of year hit idk

BANGER. the boys are so talented and are in great hands. Gutted their building the band sisters Siren Society failed and will pray the same doesn't happen here.

Hi Piran You know most of my thoughts already based on how well we know each other’s music tastes at this point but i’ll drill down; - ‘expectations’ returning to No.1 off the back of the Chappell Roan Remix. - the major climbs for ‘Miss Belladonna’ and ‘Melatonin’. - ‘SUPERSCAR’ holding strong in the top 10 (nice to see my impact here even if its like a year after I first introduced you to the song 😭) - the debuts for ‘SaWaDiKa’ and ‘Stop The Wedding!’ Great chart as per usual! Take care.

not all of them have shipped so no

Kylie Jenner walked to it at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2026, it was like a big moment cos she was wearing a $50 Mil bra or smth

not yet, it will reset but we’re probably not looking at top 40 with 2 days of streaming counted cos no clue what occ will say for thursday streams

my head hurtssssss

CMONNNNN

i remember the most inconvenient things… that i read like 5 days ago (it was around where i was looking to find if Eternity was actually considered for the playlist (it was) when the discussions about Eternity were happening and i was like “oh yea thats a really good way to pitch songs without being obnoxious”)

sadly no. It’s shaping up to be ‘Japan’ apparently. Gutted cause ‘Where Is Gone?’ was a beautiful song but yea no shot now.

unless its new songs heart logically could add (i.e. the comment lewis made in may about ‘American Girls’ and ‘Dracula’)

i mean no shade but its not like the song wasnt already going crazy viral like-

its a bit less than they regularly do, its usually 4-5 tracks but no we’re only seeing 3 this time? - Marianne (the single) - Japan (the focus song) - Demolition (the chosen track) usually there’s two chosen tracks if theres not enough singles to comp it. Granted that prob would’ve been ‘Mimesis’

i really doubt VS is gonna help tate here, the only artist its probably gonna help will be JADE given how viral Angel Of My Dreams is going now

i have no issue when its greg doing it but my issues arise with the others choosing them. What i loved was instead of going home making their TOTW ‘petal’ (which was A Listed on release day), they opted for ‘big feelings’ to be their TOTW (cos it’s Katie’s fav on the album) Would love to see them act on this cos we couldve had a fontaines song for one of the slots be an album track that wasnt getting played (Where is Gone? would be a great example as they are clearly switching gears to Japan next week)

yea i was scrolling for content and found them + Promise You

New to Capital; D.O.D x Flynn - Promise You Olivia Rodrigo x Chappell Roan - expectations Tinie Tempah x Kah-Lo - I Lied
