Rickie & Melvin (+ Charlie but this isn't about her) were the people soundtracking me getting out of the exam hall so i’ll always have great thoughts thinking back to the RMC era. What a mighty loss. I’m just glad Charlie will get someone she’s very comfortable with though, could end up like Vicky having to put up with Dean even tho she was not a fan of him.

RIVIERA RADIO PLAYLIST Week Dated: 27/08/26 new adds in blue songs climbing in green songs dropping in red Main List: Alex Warren - Fever Dream ANOTR x 54 Ultra - Talk To You Ariana Grande - Hate That I Made You Love Me RAYE - Where Is My Husband! Shakira x Burna Boy - Dai Dai Sombr - My Body Isn't Ready Stella Lefty - Boston Taylor Swift - I Knew It, I Knew You Teddy Swims - Mr. Know It All Sub List (sectioned in the alternating pair): Bruno Mars - I Just Might SIENNA SPIRO - Great Expectation Olivia Rodrigo - drop dead Tame Impala x JENNIE - Dracula REMOVED: Karol G x Bruno Mars - Still Milky x David Guetta - Just The Way You Are Sienna Spiro - Die On This Hill okay yea Riviera updates on thursdays then. all the removals being quite newer adds + JTWYA leaving again is kinda ironic ngl. Great switch of Sienna songs tho.

HUGEL’s version isn’t. Imael Angel’s original is but she’s one of those ai artists who actually writes the lyrics and puts them into ai bots.

fontaines will probably scrape top 20 given how well they have held all week.

yea Boston’s in and Opalite’s out by the looks of things, Opalite has gone straight into the silver rotation system alongside HUNTR/X - Golden

Baby Steps never got a push in the US iirc. A Couple Minutes is the one her team is pushing there rn (and it’s not come to much success to the shock of literally no one)

she is dominating apple music rn and spotify is still updating so maybe

yep! 4th single was Baby Steps, added straight to the a list on Dec 26 2025 and lasted for around 7-8 weeks on the playlist

the og Dracula just got played oop?

STELLA LEFTY - Boston added.

the ones they are playing as of late from memory are those 3 you mentioned + ‘Midnight Sun’ (remix too but focusing on OG), ‘iloveitiloveitiloveit’, ‘Baby Steps’, ‘Opalite’, ‘Just The Way You Are’, ‘CHANEL’ and ‘Homewrecker’ (edit: oops forgot ‘Stateside’) also off topic but avoiding double posting, Joy is now finally getting picked up and listed on BBC Sounds

im blind as shit HELP

did anyone mention the literal iconic “jAsOn DeRuLo” thing Jason Derulo used to on his old tracks. Sabrina Carpenter - When Did You Get Hot? (said sabrina don't you know devin?) and Pop Smoke x Dua Lipa - Demeanor (you can't say pop without smoke) come to mind too.

literally gutted. she was inspiring for almost everyone out there and was just such a pure soul. it hurts more that she had so much more she wanted to do in life as she said 4 days ago.

interesting they didn’t replace sun has set with memories. was a fan of that destin conrad project so glad they are still highlighting him.

Joseph Kahn is directing the music video for this one. JISOO is the pink we can rely on for not missing with her solo work so hopefully this one is good

lead single allegedly for her upcoming debut album. out September 4th. https://x.com/popbase/status/2091815455413424384?s=46

rip tuesday - thursday pop anthems then. at least its not 100% dead tho

just listening now. why is their edit of Ain't In LA so choppy? so confused why we need skip verse 2 and then go back to chorus 2 before the outro?

oof poor Jorja, brilliant album but ig she still doesn’t have a major pull. still thought she and Sam Smith would be outdoing people like Westside Cowboy and Brandon Flowers.

yup. found it now. Didn’t list it for Dean last week. having the same trouble for Lost Boys and Eastside Girls. hopefully thisll change once they edit the song

ah f*** i mixed up the bbc introducing one, thank you

Tune of the Weeks: Dean McCullough: Jungle - Sunshine Greg James: Fontaines D.C. - Marianne Rickie/Melvin/Charlie: Central Cee - The Team Mylo & Rosie: KATSEYE - Hootie Frutti James Cusack: RAYE x Amma x Absolutely - Joy. also the new 2026 recurrents trend is continuing as Opalite by Taylor Swift and white keys by Dominic Fike return.

ouch. hope that doesn’t pull thursday’s pop anthems as i’d love to see her present that. poor matt & mol tho…

surely not? unless they make their friday + saturday shows anthems shows?
