i think rickie and melvin are going to kisstory. Nat is probably going to mainline kiss. They need to start playing some more lower tempo dance and r&b too. I’m still super shocked that kiss completely ignored Nightingale Lane by RAYE as it wouldve been perfect for kiss.

double

yea no we dont want THAT. and how much do we have to tell you to stop talking about capital in other threads as if it hasnt got its own. like please atp yea it’s getting really irritating i don’t blame you. the playlist isn't really making up for it anymore after they purged literally every good song off the playlist.

looks like there was an error and material lover was meant to go, no plays at all today whereas great expectation has two. Not heard niall at all either

RIVIERA RADIO PLAYLIST Week Dated: 17/07/26 new adds in blue songs climbing in green songs dropping in red Main List: Alex Warren - Fever Dream Ariana Grande - Hate That I Made You Love Me ANOTR x 54 Ultra - Talk To You Bruno Mars - I Just Might Milky x David Guetta - Just The Way You Are Olivia Rodrigo - drop dead RAYE - Where Is My Husband! A List has consistently been at 16 for a while so im pretty sure Great Expectation was an accidental removal. HUGEL moving up felt obvious but Ezra Collective and Phoebe Bridgers were both shocking to me. beabadoobee moved up at last! Blossoms and Beyoncé were obviously moving up and I guess Jazzy is getting into that category too. The 5 adds are all good! It was only a matter of time for Jorja Smith and kwn to appear. Nia Archives x Jorja Smith here is also amazing! lets hope its not gonna stall c list like Boys in Blue. Fat Dog was shocking tbf, and we all saw Josh Baker coming. Madonna stalling at C rn is shocking but I can see a C-C-B-B-B run, Holly Humberstone is even more shocking to stall at C. hope Wasia can pull a Bleachers and Erin can move up but i'm doubting both. Ariana and Sonny removed noooo the rest were obvious and Great Expectation is probs a mistake.

im assuming that’ll be new hires. Hope people like Sam Darlaston and Lauren Redfern get those slots cause they are actually good presenters.

nah thats the shit top 40’s job.

actually it looks like it’ll be sian’s future artists tuesday show getting the boot instead. The motherquake that would be Nat and Esi back to back. The world would stop. 😭 and then on sunday you add tatum to the mix. Oh it would be OVER.

Going Home’s TOTW is Danceteria by Madonna

looks like Capaldi and Teddy are still on. I Knew It I Knew You was just played in the spot they get played in. Capital won’t have kicked that off the main playlist yet. Elizabeth Taylor is gone tho and they are finally playing Love Me Better

does this say capital discussion? don't be stupid 🫩

that’s matt and mol’s spot. also life hacks after the first look is so 😭. Glad we’re keeping shanequa tho I would have been livid if we lost her after just 2 years of her joining the family. Nat leaving still wrecks me though.

NAT NO Swarzy will stay on 1Xtra i take it Not them actually breaking up Rickie, Melvin and Charlie 😭 DICKHEAD DEAN IS GONE also James already out? he just joined?? Nat hasn’t been here for long either. Going Home not changing at all like Vick doesn’t need to be dumped. I agree with Jamie overtaking anthems tho (preferably pop so we don't lose Lau Redfern) also what the hell is happening with Shanequa?

welp rip the absolutely useless life hacks show. unless they wanna extend the actual chart too i genuinely don’t see any point to this. Big Top 40 is boring anyways so not mad at this.

all i did was dream of you being her best song ever too and it was completely snubbed by practically every station that normally would like her bar radio x… for two weeks…

off topic but why is capital now updating all the power intros in “My Capital” to make the songs full length… they were better when they skipped portions of song intros so we could get to the point ;-; (this is only a trend for the songs that are still in rotation, Diet Pepsi, We Pray and Abracadabra for example have not suffered this)

they do that for a song that would be charting the week before but was 3 song ruled so yea that tracks. Nice To Each Other and Baby Steps both suffered this

honeybee will climb throughout the week if the footie hype dies down a bit

he said before playing it “let me get my tune of the week on”, which is leading me to assume its Infinity. It would make sense too given December 10 just dropped their ep.

Tune Of The Weeks: Dean: December 10 - Infinity Sam/Danni (in for Greg): Tove Lo - i'm your girl right? Rickie/Melvin/Charlie: J Hus - Moonlight Mollie/Jerry (in for Matt): Bella Kay - i deserve better Katie/Jamie: not revealed. heard all of these announced listening to the shows on playback.

it says gullible on the ceiling.

mnek has been silently added to buzz alongside bea miller.
