ariana is back on capital’s recurrents now, just seen them play one last time ❤️‍🩹

id hope it’s not something life threatening with mol. But having lauren sit in while shes in danger of going into labour at any moment is so unpractical and unprofessional when radio 1 have so many presenters on standby? (like danni, shanequa, maia, lau redfern and emma millen)

none of them will and i feel the need to call mental asylums now 🫣

we don’t want him

okay nah i know you are NOT bitching about ariana, her being on is literally huge as she was blacklisted for two whole years for no reason at all. Maroon 5 haven’t been played. The others are all deserving of being here tho

wouldn’t expect any less from the bbc back then 😐

hmm yea. It’s just a lil weird to think about, we def could have done with keeping madbrina, katz or doing a double olivia, and then push maisie down to b list (sorry but her debuting in a just makes no sense at all)

sorry to jump the gun, but ariana is being listed???? what has gone on there.

yea… lots of rough removals this week 😐 just confused as to why they removed 16 songs when it could have been 15 but oh well…

100%. Pop shouldve been the second single but we can’t win like that Also yes talk to you is the longest runner and my own questions: 14 songs on B-List?, and yes they are playing Zone and WDID’s 1tros

i assume this is just their main rotation? also bruno and harry are some very weird choices. Very dance heavy now and taylor free 😭

lots of depressing removals today, and a very interesting reshuffle of songs. gobsmacked that katseye’s off so soon, same with madonna, ayra and slayyyter (shouldve been dance…), teddy and tyla didnt get the fairest of shots either unfortunately, boston does NOT need to still be here, bebe was robbed, and why is runway still here… now adds wise, Jorja and MK already had 1tros so c list catches me a little off guard for both, are they playing them or no? Sienna is long overdue, Charli replacing her other song (that only survived one week) is crazy!, Harry made an… interesting single choice. You can say that. also nice to see Alessi and Sonny carry over, caught off guard that FLO aren’t self replacing (but given their new single is next week, therapy at the club stands no chance), and Calvin is finally here.

not rude, blunt. When someone’s given numerous chances, you have to go that road

we can tell 😐

nation hits is actually quite good with giving newer and less successful songs/artists a platform. I quite like it

loud and wrong, hits radio does what capital does like 5 million times better. I’m convinced you work for global with how much you shove this station down our throats

cos they don't??? and quite frankly none of us care about capital when we aren’t talking about it. We don’t need you shoving it down our throats thinking we’ll forget about it or something because it’s that important to you? it’s such a boring station anyways and hits radio does what capital wants to do 5 billion times better. Save it.

Danni just gave it a play today, so they are still down to support it

nowhere! keep them to yourself! 😃

oh fun thread. I love it when artists do unexpected but fun key changes My favourite examples are: Ariana Grande - Greedy Britney Spears - Born To Make You Happy Heathers (Musical) - Candy Store JADE - Church Janet Jackson - Together Again Lady Gaga - Perfect Illusion Louis Tomlinson ft. the rest of One Direction - No Control Michael Jackson - Man In The Mirror RAYE - Oscar Winning Tears. Sabrina Carpenter - Please Please Please Silk Sonic - Leave The Door Open Six (Musical) - Six Taylor Swift - Love Story Taylor Swift - Mr. Perfectly Fine Whitney Houston - How Will I Know also shoutout to Taylor Swift’s Getaway Car but idk how i feel about it being almost too sudden that it actually startles you for a bit

yea no thats more of a you problem if you can't like a song for ages than a them problem but i digress

i love people who just say shit to say shit

sonny fodera could go straight to the b list given they immediately replaced my loving. Holly has instant replaced already (she might have done it with die happy into TLS too but idr). They are so late with Sienna again so thats got me a bit weary. FLO could possibly switch out too
