I quite like Finn Forster's track "Strangers". It reminds me of "All For You" from Cian Ducrot.

I'm really pleased to see that Florence Road have been promoted to the A list. They delivered one of the stand out performances at R1 Big Weekend. Their Spotify monthly listeners of almost 2.3 million are building up quite nicely. Not bad for an Irish female rock band.

For many years now, the UK Eurovision Song Contest entry has always been supported by the BBC Radio 2 playlist. However, this year it would be good if they could support the Australian entry instead. Australia are represented by Delta Goodrem. Her track "Eclipse" is truly fantastic and I am sure that it would resonate very well with the Radio 2 audience. The UK entry from "Look Mum No Computer" would probably be a better fit on either the Radio 1 or Radio 6 playlists.

That's quite clever the way that Zara Larsson has bundled up "Lush Life" with "Midnight Sun" on Spotify, as a new release 2 track single. I've not seen it done that way before with a newish track and an old one.

It's really strange how Chris Rea has climbed from No.30 to Midweek No.13 since the sad news of his passing was only announced this afternoon. I do wonder if the Official Charts Company have decided to reset the single from ACR to SCR.
