Don't know how true this is but it was posted yesterday. Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl begins its second chart week at #2 on the UK Albums Chart in today’s Sunday update, with 11,994 sales

Taylor Swift’s The Life Of A Showgirl remains at #1 in today’s Wednesday update with 353,062 UK sales.

I think she will be very close. TTPD did an additional 500k the rest of the week after it sold 1.4 million on it's first day, so if The Life of a Showgirl does the same it would put it at 3.2 million pure sales. (The article says digital and physical purchases)

She's definitely doing more than 300k units in the UK based on 2.7 million pure sales she did in the US on first day.

One of my favorite Madonna songs. Everytime I hear it, it makes me want to dance and I just love the bassline.

Maybe it was an error and they're updating it. Why would they only have post 1994 sales instead of it's combined total. Yes it was an error, they updated it to 1.4 million total chart units, with 907,500 of those pure sales.

Or they could do what Billboard used to do and have a Comprehensive Chart which allowed old or new albums combined and have a Current Albums Chart which has the newer releases then after a certain amount of time be removed from from Current Albums Chart and just stay on the Comprehensive Albums Chart.

I'm all for it. It makes the charts boring seeing the same Albums week after week.

I have a question, was 'The Holiday Collection' the 'Holiday' single that was re-released in '91 or were they two separate things and if so what chart did 'The Holiday Collection' chart on?
