  1. Annoying this wasn't released here sometime last year!! I remember watching the video the day it premiered, I've just checked and it was back last September! Anyway, I think it's pretty much a top-3-cert, most probably #1, and I want it to go there as well; despite how generic it may be, would be nice for Zedd to have a proper UK hit to his name Side note: I really hope Zedd revisits the standard version of "Clarity" and releases Lost At Sea as a single, think it could do well because of the OneRepublic/Ryan Tedder hype~
  2. +5 · Matrix & Futurebound ft. Max Marshall · 'Control' +4 · Sub Focus · 'Turn Back Time' +3 · Pitbull ft. Ke$ha · 'Timber' +2 · Fuse ODG · 'Million Pound Girl (Badder Than Bad)' +1 · Pharrell Williams · 'Happy' -1 · Jason Derulo · 'Trumpets' -2 · Avicii · 'Hey Brother' -3 · Ellie Goulding · 'How Long Will I Love You' -4 · Elyar Fox · 'Do It All Over Again' -5 · Eminem ft. Rihanna · 'The Monster'
  3. I recall Roar and Talk Dirty reaching #16, Blurred Lines reaching #11 and Wake Me Up reaching #9. I could be wrong about Roar, though!!
  4. Finally, a #14 track that isn't set to plummet the week after! Fuse cancelling out that number 14 hit~ status

So a song on the B-List receives 2 plays per day, do you think SOWK and HoH will get 1 play each per day or BOTH receive 2 plays? It would make sense for them to both receive 2 plays per day
  6. 1. Storm Queen - 100% 2. Eminem feat. Rihanna - 99.55% (up 4%) 3. Little Mix - 84.55% 4. 1D - 36.21% (!)

I think it was deleted and moved to an instant grat from the album! Ultimately it'll end up with a run of 2-7-21-OUT-*re-entry*, I really hope the labels sort this out or the OCC shift their rules.
  8. You're correct in that "Do What U Want" is Gaga's new single, but it's been been made an instant grat from to Artpop pre-order as opposed to a separate single release. The rules say that only 1 instant grat per album is allowed to chart and as "Applause" was this instant grat, DWUW is not allowed to chart (the same goes for venus). Now "Roar" was available as a separate single and the pre-order from Prism has it's own instant grats; "Dark Horse" was the first instant grat from the album and so charted, however the second ("Walking On Air") didn't chart as the rules didn't allow it. In my opinion, they should do what the US do and allow it chart but then subtract from the overall total IF the buyer chooses to use the "Complete My Album" feature or have pre-ordered the album.
  9. Are you actually being serious? It was A-Listed on Radio 1 therefore it DEFINITELY received 3 plays a day during the daytime shows. Also, I for one have frequently heard it on Capital. A month in the top 10 with a #6 peak for a 3rd single is a pretty good result if you ask me..
  10. Kworb One Republic - 100.00% Eminem - 95.91% Katy Perry - 73.96% Conor Maynard - 71.34% The Saturdays - 48.30% John Newman - 43.88% Miley Cyrus (WB) - 24.55%
  11. 8. The Saturdays - Disco Love 18. Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball 19. Miley Cyrus - We Can't Stop
  12. 26. Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball

I just went to search for the Choice FM Playlist to see what was on there and it diverted me straight to the homepage of "Capital Xtra", saying that it's coming tomorrow?! And that it's the first national urban dance music station ~Radio 1Xtra name rip-off~. However I listened to the preview of the tracks you'll hear and Le Youth was in there :D

It made the INMWT list iirc, so you may have just been right-place-right-time to hear it; in the same sense you're just not there to hear Same Love... ----- Lorde is significantly higher than James Arthur on the pre-orders but have a feel James will just beat her :(
  15. Huge song at American pop radio, Capital could have easily playlisted this, it's a shame this didn't take off here :(
  16. 129. Lorde - Royals Just heard Capital play this (21:27) :w00t:, hopefully it will get their full support soon!
  17. This means London Grammar have climbed :cheer:
  18. #14 seems to be a popular peak for songs that don't receive much airplay but pre-order/mini-hype causes them to chart and then bomb the week after. Matt/Mel, Avril and now Shane Filan. IIRC, Jodie Connor also reached #14 with "Now or Never" and bombed to #30 the week after.
  19. Agreed, definitely the better of the two Max Martin/Shellback songs on the album.
  20. 90k? Really? She'll easily go above 130k, given the amount of time it's been on pre-order for, I reckon. She's currently around 10 places higher than *Miley was at this time before her release. She sold 128k :drama:

Agreed, I don't think "Holy Grail" has an official and that's currently A-Listed. IIRC I don't think Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive" ever had an official release date yet that was hammered by Radio 1. And you're completely right, Australia are always so far ahead with releases and airplay!
  22. A few of my friends listen to Kiss and I have noticed that before, although I have actually preferred the higher pitch/speed on the songs they played!
  23. Glad it's not just me! Trampoline sounds like the right pitch too, weird!
  24. Is it just me or are the top 10 songs a very slightly higher pitch/speed than usual?
  25. I thought exactly the same thing, but it's actually Greg Kurstin on the production! The verses sound like a Stargate song imo.
