Charting does matter a lot, some artists can get dropped from their labels or given less support/budget if they don't chart well. Does getting the number 1 matter as much? More for the artists as its hard to get a number 1 nowadays when you have songs like RMI and Choosin Texas refusing to budge from the no.1 spot for weeks on end. Trying to get a top 10 placement is the most you can hope for recently.

Very interested to see how its gonna hold up aganist what is likely to be the biggest opening for a film this year with Spider Man as some projections say it could even go half a billion on opening weekend alone

At this rate RMI is gonna overtake Wednesday urgh

Shania not even two ouch

34 + 35 singalong at latest concert. Wonder if this is going to be a regular occurance, kinda cool singing it acapella with the crowd though they mostly sang this one

Don't need Billboards infection infecting us

On the last daily update for YT uk, Dai is almost at 1 million views

I dont wanna get my hopes up but seeing rmi down on first look is great to see

Omg rmi down in first look!

Texas and Talk need to swap over immediately

This is a not a great first look

If nothing recovers looking like Katseye will only be new entry in top 40 then?

Midnight Sun remix came out this year though. Then again if only being able to count the one with Pinkpantheress just how high would that have got by itself. Defo would have debuted week it came out but would it have stayed

Now Sweetener got a moment.

Depends how big of a drop she has on streaming. It debuted well but is it going to stay there?

Florida!!! - Taylor Swift, Florence + the machine Colorado - Renee Rapp Minnesota - Carlie Hanson Snow in California - Ariana Grande California Sober - Demi Lovato King of California - Dasha Thats all I can think of right now though there are so many more with California in the title. Most mentioned state?

MNEK all the way off this list. Though the one from Hannah Laing and Bassjackers is really good from this week

Oh man, wanted Ariana to return to horror comedy

I didnt even know they were on till very recently.

Well Olivia Dean doesn't have anything for this year so she's out for now. Its gonna be a Raye vs Harry showdown at the moment.

Airplay definitely not the answer. Its ruining the Billboard charts where one song is played over and over again on radio so it stays near the top of the chart solely because of airplay while songs who have more streaming and no radio support suffer. For example I just might is in the top 10 despite low sales + streaming to tracks below it because airplay counts for 59% of the tracks success there.

Shame they made Pinocco Unstrung limited, its been getting such good reviews

+5 Hate That I Made You Love Me +4 Stupid Song +3 Dai Dai +2 the cure +1 Free Your Mind -1 Talk To You -2 I knew it I knew you -3 Rein me in -4 Wonderwall -5 choosin texas

Hey, I love Good Reason, it is actually the current number 1 right now. Thanks for commenting.
